Hey, hi,

I did read your theory.

As far as I can tell, America is not Babylon.

I think that the Bible is all about Israel.

Israel being restored to Jerusalem is what centering on right now.

Do you think that the Bible centers around Israel?

There are no more prophets, sir.
Only witnesses who hold to the TESTIMONY of JESUS.
There is NOTHING that needs to be added to the STORY of our salvation in by and through THE SON..
And anyone who does...well that one is made manifest is a false witness...
Ephesians 4:11-13 New International Version (NIV)

11 So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, 12 to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up 13 until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.

Well I guess there are no more pastors, evangelists or teachers either. I wonder whose been leading the service & teaching us the word all these years???!!! I guess we all have a different interpretation of scripture. Tread lightly, God will hold us all accountable. And another thing Ma'am, everything must be spoken in love and all I got from what you wrote is some ignorance with not much scripture to back up what you're saying. So please, give us some scripture......with love.

No I believe the Bible centers around Jesus, the promised Seed, not seeds.

Your speculations about Babylon, the Anti Christ and the end times prophecies are deception to lead you to chasing shadows instead of doing the good works God wants you to do.

You probably carry a chip of pride and self righteousness that prevents you from being a true part of the body of Christ because people don't accept your "vision" or "annointing" from God.

Reexamine your heart. Do you find anger and pride in it?

If so, your wisdom is not from above but demonic in origin. If you want to continue there are many who will play false prophet with you.

America may be destroyed, but it won't be due to Biblical prophecy but worldly jealousy and scheming by Islamic nations and/or China. Russia isn't really on the world stage anymore but may join forces with them if it comes to the next world war or they may join the USA.

I know this is my first thread, but I came to this site to ask people's opinions.

God has called me to be a prophet, but I don't understand the point of it. What good is it to know what is going to happen? What good is it to tell people what's going to happen?

When I do tell people what is going to happen, they don't believe me and they come up with any explanation they can to say that what God has shown me will happen won't happen.

Deuteronomy 18:21,22 gives the test of a prophet: "[SUP]21 [/SUP]You may say to yourselves, “How can we know when a message has not been spoken by the Lord?” [SUP]22 [/SUP]If what a prophet proclaims in the name of the Lord does not take place or come true, that is a message the Lord has not spoken. That prophet has spoken presumptuously, so do not be alarmed." I will pass that test when what God has shown me comes to pass. The only problem is that when what I say comes to pass, there will not be anyone alive or on this forum to verify it.

Even the most devout Christians on this forum will not be able to accept what I have to say. God is going to do a thing so great and terrible that you cannot even fathom it, let alone accept it. And again I ask, what good is it for me to tell anyone? I fear, and think I know deep down in my heart, that God has raised me up to be the unheard prophet: a raving madman preaching from the street corner about what He is going to do and that no one will listen or heed my warning. And then it will be too late.
There is another test for a false prophet, does your prophecy point to Jesus and the gospel message? If not, even if your prophecy comes true God calls those people false prophets.

A test to see if the message is from God is that He gives peace and understanding with His messages. Not fear and defeatism. "It will be too late" you say that as if you believe your preaching can change what God plans to do yet it's not in your "prophecy" which isn't really a prophecy but words added to the Bible about you believe will happen.

Try and drop your preconceived notions, pray that God helps you discern truth from, lies and re-read the whole,Bible. Find a good historical Study bible to go with your reading and you will see how some prophecies have been fulfilled and won't be so easily deceived.

Hi, Voice in the Wind,

I was wondering about The 4th beast of Daniel ch 7,

I always thought that it was Rome,

Who do you think the 4 beasts of Daniel 7 are?

My entire prophecy centers around what the Bible says about Babylon.

All of which has much to do with Israel.

When America is destroyed, who is Israel going to turn to for protection? They will be all alone in a world full of enemies of their own making. That's when they will be run down and taken over for a few years before Jesus comes back to deliver them when they call on His name.

I've spent years serving God with youth groups and ministering everywhere I can when I can. I rarely have spoken about these things with others, because I don't want to spread despair.

You're being very presumptuous thinking you know me.

I'd rather have a thousand good things to tell you about Christ than to tell you what He plans to do to punish America.

You would rather I be like Micaiah the Prophet in 2 Chronicles 18:14.

I actually believe you are right! Someone I know told me the same thing brother using Jer 50...and also some research I have done about the symbolism/freemason connections to babylon lead me to believe that you are 100% correct about America being Babylon....it (america) like Babylon has influenced nations with it's inventions, culture, and perversion.....while this will not tickle the ears of my fellow christians in america the truth may be uncomfortable but it's still the truth....

The comparisons to babylon are astounding not to mention the signs/symbols in dc being derivations of babylonian religion itself.....

While I no doubt will get bashed and be told to "worry about one's own country" I applaud you brother as you are an American willing to put yourself out there to spread this news! God Bless you and stay vigilant in the Lord!

Well it is good you know the test for a prophet.. I know the test for a prophet as well and all Bible believing Christians should know that test as well.. So when it comes to a person who claims to be a prophet i wait to hear their prophecy and then wait to see it come to fruition.... It is not a case of being a supporter of that person who claims to be a prophet or being a denigrator and accusing that person.. It is a case of being cautious and allowing the test to run it's course because as the Bible says many false prophets have gone out into the world and that in the end times there will be many false prophets and fakes saying they are the returned Jesus..

So since i believe we are in the end times and i have seen more then a few false prophets playing the deception game i will stick firmly with the Word of God that guards me from deception.. So if you are a real prophet then what you state will come to pass without any error at all..

So with that all said i would like to hear your prophecy ,, or prophecies.. ?

Oh and PS::: If you are a true prophet and you withhold what the LORD has given you to say then woe will be upon you.. Remember Jonah.. He did not have much of a good time trying to run away from God when God called him to be a prophet..

This is what I'm talking about. Even if I spend the time to lay it out verse by verse and show you and everyone else the overwhelming truth of what I'm talking about, no one will believe me. This event will be so great and earth-shaking and world-changing that is foretold throughout the Bible many times. Upon request, I will show hundreds of Bible verses that lay out what I'm saying and what it all means, but if a person has already made up their mind not to believe, the truth matters little.

Humor me, pretend what I say is in fact a prophecy from the Living God and confirmed by His word (if you cannot allow yourself to believe), and tell me what good it is to be a prophet? No one will listen and no one will believe. I end up being the mad man of Hosea 9:7.

I'm not crazy, nor do I attend a church that preaches this message. My church is non-denominational and although we talk about the symptoms of our decadent culture, we don't typically bring up end-times prophecy as though we were living in those times. This is not something my church would want me to preach.
It is not the job of a Prophet to convince anyone of the truth of their prophecy..

It is not the job of a prophet to justify themselves by stressing their religious credentials..

It is the Job of a prophet simply to give what they have been given..

The Holy Spirit is the one who convinces people of the legitimacy of the prophecy..

Yes i read both of them.. And now i am less convinced you area prophet.. I believe you are using some prophecies about the destruction of the Beast and His world dominating empire as if they are talking about the destruction of The Harlot of Babylon.. So i believe you have made mistakes in your scripture selections.. And i know that a Prophet from God would never make any mistakes like that..

I wish I was wrong.

People say Jonah was angry that God didn't destroy Nineveh, but I think he was angry that God made him out to be a liar - since God didn't actually destroy Nineveh like Jonah said God would do in 40 days.

Personally, I'm totally okay with God not destroying America since, you know, I live here.

If you're not convinced now, that's okay with me. I expect that. I expect it from everyone, because God has told me I would be the unheard prophet: a madman screaming in the streets, warning people with wasted breath. And, like I said, if God makes me out to be a liar, I think that's 100% great because of the implications, but when God proves me right, what then? What will it have profited you or anyone else to have believed me in the first place? That question is the reason I posted this thread in the first place.

As for what you're saying, the Beast is part of the harlot. The Beast is the eighth head of Babylon. He belongs to the seven or is of the seven. His destruction comes when the angel pours out the seventh bowl judgment. It is the end of all Babylons forever. The Beast becomes both, the destroyer of Babylon and the destroyed Babylon.

Sir, who said HE will send "prophets"
1Cor 12v28: "And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues..."

Eph 4v6-12: "One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ. Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men. (Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth? He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.) And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ..."

Try reading the Scriptures with your eyes, spirit and mind open!

QED!

voiceinthewind,

What verses are you using to connect Babylon directly to America?

I see a lot of scripture about Babylon,

What ties it all to the U.S.?
