And people have also been given ‘free will’ to choose to use that knowledge.

Also, remember when God told Adam and Eve to stay away from that tree of knowledge? Yeah, then there’s that knowledge too....
I don't see anything bad using knowledge to create things that will help others to control their reproduction.

instead of procreating a lot that will lead you to a destitute life.

well our opportunistic local Catholic clergy wants it because more poor people in my country means that can still control a lot of them.

Look at the progressive countries of Europe, the Catholic Church influence has almost declined or dead there.

I am starting to believe that the influence of the Catholic Church is strong in nations where there are lots of poor people.

and her subtle way of maintaining a lot of poor people in a country is not to allow their members to use modern ways to control their reproduction but instead procreate a lot that will make them poorer.

The question is how not to have sex sister

the way it is worded is very strange in your OP and the title

to not give into temptation

requires deliverance

to lower the chances of certain temptations usually requires a change of lifestyle

before you sin by giving into temptations

you feel tempted

these initial thoughts can manifest as memories
or imaginations (images or actions in your mind)
or just desires to actually DO something lustful

we can examine the fact we are feeling these temptations and bring them to our Father in prayer

"please God.....i keep getting these unfruitful thoughts and i know no good comes from these before i do something stupid please deliver me from these thoughts/feelings"

obviously it works.... God will deliver you from temptations but its not always just a couple seconds of prayer

maybe at work youll be praying in your mind for a half an hour before it goes away
but then it may come back

then you repeat the process

if tv or movies or video games or music or habits or certain people trigger these temptations often

this is where the change of lifestyle comes into play

you FLEE away from what is causing you to stumble

and towards what brings you closer to God

for the record

even allowing these initial thoughts/ temptations to continue
is sin in itself

day dreaming about sex

or allowing your mind to dwell on memories

or imagine things you shouldnt past the initial temptation

if you can stop these sins of the heart at the point of only temptation and bring them to God

you can say "no" when you are tempted by someone to have sex using the same relationship with God you have already established through stopping these things in your mind/heart

The question is how not to have sex sister? will your husband release his semen by hand, drink a lot of beer until he falls asleep or to overwork.

if you say using a condom, then it is still using contraceptives and you have sex with your husband using it.

Not to take a bath? common can you endure that? what if you're a working woman? will your work mates bear to smell your body for not taking a bath?
I was kidding. Which was maybe unkind of me, as you're clearly really struggling with this whole subject.

I don't think you're going to find an answer to this that you'll be content with. Most of us who've been replying to your threads live in countries where it's a simple matter to obtain multiple types of birth control methods with a simple trip to the nearest pharmacy, or a quick consultation with a doctor. We've been brought up in a culture where the overall attitude is "People are going to have sex, so they might as well be safe about it". The idea of abstinence is largely ignored, save for within a few religious groups- and even there, the only "method" of abstaining is by self-control (i.e, as I said, just not having sex).

The Bible talks about exercising self-control in sexual matters- and if you can't, then you should marry. Nowhere does it say that once you're married, you should then abstain from sex in order to avoid making babies. If you are married, you're supposed to be freely offering yourself to your spouse. If you and your spouse do not want children, then the reasonable conclusion to draw is that you should use some form of contraceptive- because, as I mentioned, the Bible DOES say not to deprive your spouse of sex, and it does NOT say you are not to use contraceptives.

It seems that your threads on this topic are merely going in circles now. You don't like your country and what Catholicism teaches about having children; you don't want to use any form of birth control; you seem to want some easy way to abstain from sex. I think it's time you took your concerns directly to God and hash it out with Him. Nobody on this site is going to be able to tell you whatever it is you want to hear.

Perhaps I misunderstood the OP.... I thought he was wanting to know how to minimize sexual urges in a marriage relationship?
In that instance, there is no lust involved... only desire for intimacy with your spouse. I'm not sure that all the admonitions against fornication and lust are pertinent to the OP.

Did I miss something?

I am really looking for an answer about how to eliminate the sexual urge of couple if in my country, there are lack of supply of contraceptives.

Because in return i’ll Advise my brethren in faith how to do birth control w/o using contraceptives.

Ohh...this all makes a little more sense now.

I'll start by saying that I think it's a...noble...pursuit. But I think you may find that it's very difficult to convince people to simply abstain from having sex, no matter how many good, logical reasons you give them for doing so.

Your country could certainly benefit from standardized sex education classes, readily available contraceptives, and a lot less Catholic influence over everyone...but even if you could convince a few couples to abstain, how will that truly change anything?

Do you have a bigger plan than simply trying to tell people to stop having sex?

Personally I believe that sex is unavoidable for loving couple. This is the reason why I am posting here that using contraceptive is a sin it depends on the situation.

It is a sin if it will be used in fornication or extramarital affairs but not a sin if you just want to make love and don't want to procreate because you cannot afford to raise a child/children.

To tell you the truth sister, my country now has a law where the government has in the position to give free contraceptives even in the poorest communities. so my country has almost no more Catholic influence.

I agree with sex education but sadly a lot of our politicians were influenced by our Catholic clergy that having sex education classes is bad and only parents should teach their children about sexuality.

I have ideas I don't know if these are sound pieces of advice about how to do birth control w/o using contraceptives. Just tell me which are the best among the ff:

1) releasing semen by hand if you feel libido in your body (for males)

2) overwork until you exhausted and fall asleep

3) drink sleeping pills

4) drink beers if there are no sleeping pills in your nearest drug stores.

Ok...so if contraceptives are given out for free, why not encourage more people to use them?

As for the ideas-

Each of them are problematic. Taking sleeping pills or drinking yourself into a stupor in order to basically kill off sexual desire/ability to have sex are crazy and dangerous things to do. What if someone overdoses on the sleeping pills? What if drinking leads to abusing one's spouse or children, or addiction, or- really, the list of negative things that could easily happen with these two ideas is pretty long.

Any of these ideas are going to cause problems within a relationship, most of them will have serious negative effects on someone's health, and none of them are guaranteed to prevent someone from having sex.

Referring to number 1 here, why would you want to have sex with yourself by giving yourself a hand job? Sleeping pills won't help and neither will alcohol. NOTHING on your list here is a good option. If a married couple wants to have unprotected sex, they can. And if two unmarried people hop in the sack just because they want a sex romp, then they should use birth control so they don't get pregnant or contract an STD.. My cousin is a big hoochie who sleeps with every guy she meets, NEVER has protected sex and she has had chlamydia, gonorrhea and has herpes now. :/ Had she used protection with all these guys, she wouldn't have gotten all those STD's...

It's a sin to use birth control while having an affair with someone other than your husband or wife? WOW.. That is crazy. It's a great thing to use birth control so the people don't get an STD, which commonly happens when cheaters sleep with multiple partners. Too many people are too eager to get all hot and horny and jump in the sack for a romp in the sheets, and don't bother using protection. Then they get pregnant or contract an STD. Then they moan about how they don't want a kid, and are angry that they got an STD. Well, if they'd used protection in the first place, that wouldn't be happening to them now..

Well I encourage my Catholic brethren to use it because most of them agrees. (especially promiscuous people)

but if a Catholic is so devoted or worse gullible, I don't force my belief on him/her. I will even help that man to find solution how to do it well and exact.

Because I found out that in my country, most of my anti contraceptives brethren have no idea how to abstain from sex w/o using contraceptives.

The unfortunate part I heard about the doctrine of anti contraceptives of my Church is there was a professional woman who is also the defender of this issue (using contraceptive is moral or immoral) later have 10 children when he got married.

She realized now that what she is defending is nothing but silly doctrine meant for advantage only for the Church leaders' interest.

I believe that if most of my brethren will procreate a lot, it will enable them to stay poorer so my priests and bishop can easily control them well. and let's not be hypocrite here shall we?

more children means more students for the costly and private owned schools of the Church, more will give sacramental fees, donations, contributions and other pecuniary activities set by my Church.

If you are talking about a married couple, then we aren't meant to deny each other sex check out 1 Cor 7 v5 paraphrased the only time for a married couple would be by mutual agreement and so they can devote themselves to prayer. The use of contraceptives by married couples in my opinion is not clearly prohibited by scripture. I am married and yes there are certain contraceptives I would not chose to use, however that is up to the individual to research. Have a look at natural planning method, which includes charting temperature, it is very effective when done properly and I don't think the Catholic Church prohibits. (I am not a Catholic). This method means you just avoid sex during the fertile time, other times a pregnancy is not going to happen. However it does not protect against STI's
