say that "work salvationism" is true, by that logic, Moses, empowered by God, to perform miracles beyond wonderment, exceeds ultimate expectations, Moses would know ultimate salvation, based on that standard, and guess what, Moses can't do jack anything without God, therefor God works through Moses, so even if work-salvationism is true, it's best to allow God to work through you, sustain salvation for you, so that God can be more glorified

for when I am weak, then I'm strong

and Exodus 14:14 - Let God fight your battles, you only need to be still

Yes benhur, horrible and false is the gospel that say's, "I can lose" my eternal salvation.

Repent and "believe" the Gospel"

John10:28
I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand.

Confession will not save anyone. Yes, when we know we have committed a sin (no matter big or little) we should talk with God and confess it. That confession is simply to keep our hearts/minds clean and pure. Salvation is a gift that cannot be earned, worked for, kept through human efforts. It is a gift to be accepted. Plain and simple
100% agree Star and exactly what the bible teaches.....

Plain as day........

Everlasting means everlasting
Eternal means eternal
Saved to the uttermost means utterost
Irrevocable means irrevocable
Never leave or forsake means never leave or forsake
Kept by the power of GOD means KEPT by the power of God
Nothing shall separate us from the Love of God means NOTHING SHALL

etc.....

Sorry that’s not what John 10:28 says.

John 10:28 starts with the word “and”, because verse 28 is the result of obeying verse 27

My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. John 10:27-28

Sheep who hear, which means to listen with the intent to obey, and follow him and know Him will inherit eternal life.

Those sheep who stop hearing and wander away and become lost are not promised the same thing.

Does anyone understand that a sheep who becomes lost, needs to be found in order to be saved on the Day of Judgement?

4 “What man of you, having a hundred sheep, if he loses one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness, and go after the one which is lost until he finds it? 5 And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing. 6 And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and neighbors, saying to them, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep which was lost!’ 7 I say to you that likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance.
Luke 15:4-7

  • likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance.

Lost = Sinner in need of repentance in order to be reconciled to God.
Dead to God.

Found = Reconciled to God.

Wake Up.

Read the Bible.

what does 1 Cor 15:2 mean about believing in vain?
To believe in vain is to believe without cause or without effect, to no purpose. If, as some are saying in Corinth, there is no resurrection, then faith is vain and worthless (vs. 14).

In Matthew 6:7, we read - And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do. For they think that they will be heard for their many words. In Matthew 15:9, we read - And in vain they worship Me, Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men."
