Father,

I have suffered so many insecurities within myself. A lot of self doubt and sadness, but underneath who I am on the inside there's a little girl waiting to be free. To grow.. she wants to let go of all her pain, all of her feelings of self worthlessness and self hate and please don't let it return. She's truly beautiful, and she truly has potential to be greater than she could ever imagine. She's aesthetic and kind. She believes in others father, but allow her to believe in herself. She will make it with the help of your loving and understanding hand. Allow ALL of her dreams to come true, let her know of this and be encouraged of this. She is not to old to be greater than she can fathom. She has the key inside of her, father allow her to open the secret places that she's kept hidden. She loves the sun so allow her to grow like a sunflower. Beautiful and strong, Brave and wise. Kind and lovely. Just as you created her to be. Heal her pain, give her a brand new perception of herself and the world around her. I pray that she faces her fears lord. Her deepest fears and regrets, I pray you free this woman lord. FREE me. Amen. Please father, I do not wish to die without fulfilling your purpose for me, help me to fight out all of the attacks that I place on myself, and allow me to truly become everything I've dreamed of being. I wish to experience all of the beauty, love, and the wonders of the world that I so dream of. Thank you for everything, Protect me and keep me healthy. Amen.

do you have a mentor or pastor/counselor you can talk through these things with? as good as prayer is, there could be somethings you are blind to and need to talk through with trusted wise counsel.

We come to the Lord because we know our weakness, our sins, our worthlessness, and shame. He's not the Self-Esteem Genie god. He's the God who knows who we really are and loves us anyway.

But if we come to him with our low self esteem or any problems for that matter he will strengthen us and gives us what we need. He's a God who knows us yes, but he's also a God who wants us to come to him for help so we may grow into what he called us to be. He is a God will can turn self esteem into hope. He's a healer and a rewarder for those who diligently seek him and i am.. Everyday because i know change takes every effort and as long as i am willing God will do the rest.

Sometimes i write and i pray as I'm writing. I share what's in my heart and this is my way of talking with my father. Also i can look back on this and see how far I've come. I can also see what prayers God has answered me too. So thanks everyone for your feedback, thoughts, and concerns. God bless everyone.
