I been learning to play the guitar, i still have along ways to go. I don't have the best singing voice, but i know its all about honoring God in song. One of my favorite songs is Amazing Grace to sing and play. Some of my favorite words to the song, ( Amazing grace how sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me, I once was lost but now am found was blind but now i see.) What a powerful message and song to honor God with.
Psalm 98:4
4 Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth,
burst into jubilant song with music;

You know how the bible says that people will one day worship him in spirit and truth? This post of yours is the very essence of that. Even if your voice sounded like a crow to others ears to his it is the sweetest and most wonderful voice that could ever penetrate his ears and his heart leaps with joy with every word that you sing because you are singing with your heart and the song that your heart sings brings more bounty of honor to him than a thousand offerings because it is you his child who is the one singing.

I am so thankful God did not tell us we have to sound like a trained vocalist when we sing. All He asks is that we make a joyful noise to Him.

Psalm 100:

1 Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands.

2 Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing.

3 Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.

4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.

5 For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.

I cannot say for certain but I believe when you sing His praises you are quite the star....
