I suspect others have addressed this already, but you have drawn an unwarranted conclusion. Your assertion that "no demon can enter..." is not directly stated in Scripture. It is only an inference.

Given that, and the significant ability of of the enemy to deceive us, I would be more inclined to believe that your assertion is wrong.
yes but you are intellectualizing rather than intenalizing the Spirit being
within us...once the Spirit is in us as paul says, we have become a new
creation and being a new creation we are completely beholden to the
the will of God so that means we are no longer in the flesh; the flesh
would lead us to your statements while the Spirit is in those who have accepted it completely...so neither a demon or satan can coexist with God within us...add
to that, Christ defeated satan on the cross so when we accept that we have
no fear...obviously demons and satan exist but they simple do not have power
over us...to believe they do means we are not trusting God since He said
nothing can snatch us away from Him...loving God rather than being concerned with the evil one will always be our strength.

Your approach, and that of Nehemiah6, would lead people to believe that they are completely safe from demons regardless of what they do. It is the same approach that says Christians cannot possibly lose their salvation, so they can live as they please. Both are, in my humble opinion, incorrect and foolish.

I think rather that those who hold closely to Christ, who seek to walk by the Spirit and don't merely assume that they do, and who carefully avoid the influences of the enemy are those on whom he will have no hold. Nothing can take us out of God's hand, but the verse doesn't say that the enemy can't make life a living hell while we're there.

And no, I'm not intellectualizing. Rather, I'm taking Scripture literally, and not adding meaning to it which is not clearly supported. :)

I can only say that if you fear the evil one and demons, you are not yet
living in the Spirit...this does not preclude you from the next life but it
does stun your growth as follows:
1 Corinthians 11:1 English Standard Version (ESV)
11 Be imitators of me, as I am of Christ. That is to say be Christlike in every
way....Jesus dispensed of evil, not attracted evil...those who have demons
have not yet encountered Christ in the fullest...I have absolutely no fear
of demons or satan but i have helped people who do. That is what our aim
should be.

Christ defeated Satan and all the Demons on our behalf and He gave us full power over them. I also have no fear of Satan and His Demons, they are very afraid of me because they know that I have been given the power over them.

Saved people have been given a lot of power so we should be very ruthless to attack sin and the powers of darkness. We were commanded to kill sin and not to give it a foothold in our lives, we should never be afraid of sin or Satan. We have the full victory and we already have eternal life and it's impossible to lose it.

Those who think they can lose their salvation are not yet saved, they are in doubt about the power of Christ who said that nothing would snatch us out of His Fathers hand and nothing will separate us from Him so we have 100% assurance.

where did he say anything about fearing the devil?

you don't even address what was said, but pick a topic out of the air that no one but YOU brought up

maybe people who think the devil cannot bother them are the ones who are afraid so they act like half the Bible is not true

what is the spiritual armor for? decorating the halls of Windsor castle?

My concern is not for myself; I put on my armour daily. This is a practical discussion, and I am not looking for instruction. :)

Here's a question for you and all those who hold that demons cannot bother Christians:

Why did Paul write about the spiritual armour, and why did Peter warn us that the enemy prowls about like a lion seeking whom he may devour, if we are completely safe from demons? That just doesn't follow.

1 Peter 2 King James Version (KJV)

2 As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:

3 If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious.

4 To whom coming (Holy Spirit), as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but "CHOSEN" of God, and precious,

5 Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to "offer up spiritual sacrifices", ACCEPTABLE to God BY Jesus Christ. (this is where Jesus confess us TO His Father!) Yes! Jesus, is the "first fruits" To His Father! What the Father doesn't have, but, "wants and hopes for" is YOUR "first fruits!" (much akin to the O.T. offerings up of the Nation of Israel's first fruits (INDIVIDUALLY), by Jehovah's Priests)

In answering the OP? I wouldn't use the word "demons", should you be a "Christian." Unless, you are "exorcising" one from a "non-believer." In which case, there were even "some demons", even the "Disciples of Christ" COULDN'T "cast out", or "exorcise", I guess is the word used for "casting out" these days.

That being said, should you have said, "evil spirits", blueluna5? Abso-Friggin'-LUTELY! For this is a WAR we wage against satan! As, it is also waged against us!

As Paul, and so many other writers in the N.T. "Acknowledge" this "Chain of Command", usually in their introduction, of their "letter, or epistle." Or, not to far into their "written record."

Milky's "discipling" Milky's = More Milky's! Sadly, this is the state of today's churches, and (alleged) higher schools of "learning", are producing these days.

One could, "liken" one, having believed and accepted Jesus Christ as one's Lord and Savior (HIGH PRIEST, AND "KINSMEN" REDEEMER), to the "angels" of the Lord of the Harvest, having "weeded out" the tares, to the point where one is even able TO "believe!" But, there are still many tares that the further "weeding out" would damage the "convert." Just as soon, as one confesses Jesus to men? One is INSTANTLY confessed to Jesus' Father! If one would "consider" this as the "Lord of the Harvest?" And "allow" HIM (Lord of the Harvest), to "work" one? (and don't think the Holy Spirit, doesn't have it's "role" to play in this) One would be the so MUCH better off, CONTENDING for the faith, as opposed to DEFENDING "only?" It'll make your head spin!

There are many more professors than there are possessors. Given your sources I am compelled to have great reservation about the information you are providing. Born again Holy Spirit filled Christians cannot be possessed by demons.

1Jo 4:4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

For the cause of Christ
Roger
Possession means you have no control but the demon does. That's not the same thing as demons being around or in thoughts, etc.

Jesus was tempted by the devil so even he was dealing with him being either around or in thoughts.
