Yep, Clearwater, Florida. Of course, there is this saying that the further south you get towards Florida the closer you are to the north.

Yes it is but that is the saying. The thing is that most people that live in Florida do not consider it to be a southern state as it is very cosmopolitan, with many different nationalities, cultures, and religions. A good portion of the population migrated from the north, myself included, so that is how that saying got started.

My wife and I were in Clearwater Florida last year. I enjoyed eating seafood at Cooters and Frenchy’s.

Tonight I had baked chicken, green beans, rice roni. Now I wish I had some ice cream or red velvet cake.

Yeah, no wonder they had so much trouble with that election back in 2000. Poor people are so confused it's pitiful. By the time you get down to Miami you're back up in Boston.

Now NORTH Florida, that's the part where the art of Southern living still survives... and the 2000 election was over on election night.

Take 2 thin patties..put a pad of butter or cheese between..grill..stuffed cheese or butterburger !
The burgers I shared are stuffed. If recalling not just with cheese. I made them for each members taste. Mine was cheese, bacon, jal. peppers, and cilantro if memory serves. For my just cheese stuffed, I season the meat, roll in large ball (like meatballs) poke cheese cubes in center and work meat over. Just like you do with stuffed meatballs, I found it's easier. I've never heard of butterburger?

oo

I think so too. That is one left-over that I don't mind eating. We have pot roast about every 4 months, with carrots, potatoes, onions and celery. My wife does a good job cooking this dish. She sears the meat before adding to the pan to bake. Makes a gravy with the juices. Yummy.
