God called me a goat

I was reading through all the pages and wanted to clear the air here personally. Perhaps I misspoke in saying he doesn't speak to us through clouds however the issue with that is that personal interpretation is too broad. This person came to us because he thought God was calling him a goat from the shape of a cloud and felt like God was upset with him at that moment I was not concerned with arguing whether or not God speaks with clouds my concern to was to help to heal a wounded soul so I may have disregarded the fact God could do that like in lady blue's case with her cat so I do apologize for that.
But the fact is there is no one way God can speak to us he can and will use anything to speak to and teach his children but as in this such case we can not know how to really hear his voice and can interpret it as something else entirely. As far as being flamboyant you can think that of me if you wish I honestly have no need to defend myself otherwise

Now you probably have heard someone call someone a goat, like a boxer, which stands for greatest of all time, so if that is the case you are in good shape.
But whether you think you see a sheep or a goat as the shape of a cloud does not mean anything, but that is the shape of the cloud, and what about other people that see it and they think it looks like a goat, are they a goat too.
Will they be cursed along with you by the goat shaped cloud because they gazed upon it, when it was only meant for you. Now because you are a goat other people have to suffer that looked upon the cloud in the shape of a goat, putting a Medusa like effect on them but in the way of a stony heart.
Well thanks a lot as I speak for the people that were cursed by the goat cloud.
Of course I am kidding and it does not mean anything, and some people look for signs too much, or make something out of something that does not mean anything.
There is this one man William Tapley that calls himself the third eagle, angel, of the apocalypse, and co-prophet of the end time, that has some weird beliefs about what he encounters, and he could see a fish jump up out of the water, and it means something to him, and he will say sports games, the scores, is a prophesy of God, among more weird interpretations, but of course him saying he is the third eagle, angel, of the apocalypse as described in Revelation, and co-prophet of the end time says it all concerning this man's mental state.
Plus you cannot go off of one isolated incident anyway, which God said, out of the mouth of two or three witnesses let everything be established.
So if you seen the cloud in the shape of a goat, and then saw a goat by the wayside, and then someone was riding with you and said something that got your goat, now maybe it is established you are surely a goat.
But I kid again.

No one is saying God does not speak in the ways you mention too. And no one said everything which happens is from God. As for spiritualizing everything , that statement is a broad brush stroke that can not possibly apply to everything. I could say of your statement STOP MAKING EVERYTHING PHYSICAL AND UNIMPORTANT. The point: we are called to get to the bottom of - WAS DEVIN RECEIVING A MESSAGE FROM GOD OR satan.Obviously Devin felt that God messaged him. That would require knowing Devin's spiritual state which his physical behavior affects. I am new here maybe you all know Devin I do not.
With that said God gives signs in other manners besides what you state.

Now, I never said the sign given this person was from God nor did I say it was not, all I am saying is, God does use His creation to give signs that is all. I thought you were quick to judgement that, this person was seeking a sign. You did post what you did because you believe Devin was exactly as you quoted Christ as saying, you know that is true. Then precede to act like I said something untrue concerning what you plainly said. It is disingenuous to say God speaks only in the way you listed above. What is true is throughout scripture He speaks quietly when need be and sometimes He thunders. He gives physical signs by manipulating His creation- Moses staff turns to a snake to devour Pharaoh's. hail which burned like fire , Pillars of fire , burning bush but not devoured, parting of seas, droughts, locust, signs in the sun moon and stars, rainbows ex....! He too gives personal revelation and speaks to us individually in a manner in which we understand, and that is NOT always through a Pastor, shepherd , priest ex....
Each person can have a personal relationship with Him .

and a couple of points....you are new here...show some respect and your last line was a joke...you accuse me of being dishonest, trying to fool God and then say God bless....
This is the exact reason Christianity is a joke in the world ^^^^^^^^^^^^^that type of hypocrisy

Anyhoo, Devin, clouds change form all the time. I don't think it had anything to do with you seeing a goat shaped cloud, but maybe more the song you were listening to. Sounds like it convicted you in some way?

It was just a cloud, but it was not just that to Devin. It would be just a cloud if Devin was just driving not thinking about anything and saw a cloud which looked like a goat or sheep. So the cloud in and of itself is not really the source of this conversation. Only Devon and God and yes maybe satan knows what he was upset and crying about. So for us a cloud is just a cloud until it is meant to mean more!
A cloud is just a cloud until it represents something else. I would say state of mind and timing would determine that. If you are thinking about God or heaven and hell and you look up not expecting something but get something, coincidence is not always the answer, sometimes it is Providence. I am not dismissing your opinion but I am saying you may not be right.

No God does not deal in unknowns but man whom God chooses to reveal certain things to or not ,does deal in unknowns. We are called to seek "Seek and you shall find , knock and the door will be opened". If all was known to us as to God we would not be called to seek and that is what Devin seems to be doing as well as others here who may not be all knowing as you. Maybe we missed the true Messiah? NOT! You are in for a rude awakening sleeping as you are on the spiritual impact God and yes satan can have on this earth by manipulating the physical. STILL WONDERING WHAT DEVIN WAS UPSET ABOUT????????
