Oh, so what? The point is this man made his last stand against something he saw as more evil than war. Right or wrong his future is sealed and we are not to judge!

We ought to know if he trusted Christ. If he is judged on his works he is lost. That is not judging but hearing Gods word.

He was captured and held as a P.O.W. in North Viet Nam 7? years I think. Became a General then a senator but defied his conserative party and trump in the health care fiasco. The Republicans hate him because he stood up to them, the liberals hate him for being a war monger like most generals but he passed, brain cancer so may he rest in peace till judgment day.

He was a POW in the Hanoi Hilton and was tortured because his father was a Navy Admiral. John McCain III was a Naval aviator not a general. They offered to release him but he refused to leave his fellow prisoners behind. He could have had special treatment but got extra torture instead. Noble man in prison but it does not alleviate his need to be saved.
