Do Not Be Dismayed For I Am Your God
I Will Strengthen You And Help You,
What great reassurance from God that He will be with us
and never abandon us. The question is though, are we
willing to give up all that we are and surrender to Him in
all things without equivocation. That is something that is
very difficult to get around and yet that is what God asks
us to do. Truly though, that is the only way that peace
hope and love can enter us and change our lives so that
we are always reliant on Him and not stray away from Him.
He promises to be with us and He is with us. Many years
ago I came to the realization that my way was not working
but once I said here I am God, show me your way. It was
like a light switch, since the best years of my life came
with that choice. So when the Lord tells me not to fear, I
take that literally because when I rely on Him consistently,
only good things happen as He promised.
