This Life Is In His Son,
John writes that in his first letter. He is giving assurance
to everyone that all who believe in the Son have eternal
life. Eternal life begins here and now though. Eternal
life is not only everlasting life but also a quality of life. We
are to grasp the Lord by His hand and allow Him to lead
us and show us the way. When we wander away from
that we begin to make mistakes. We begin to lose faith as
other things then start to pile on. Like depression, lack of
reassurance, lack of trust in God and even start believing
He doesn't exist. It is really important to catch those things
early so the way can be straightened. If anyone can't do it
on their own, it's advisable to seek help from other believers.
In listening to people, it seems that is really easy to slip away
because if we don't tend the garden the weeds overtake it.
