I need help remembering to pray for others, knowing that it will help them immensely. I also have had some nightmares that have made it rather difficult to want to sleep at all. I would like prayer for those two things, feel free to post your own needs of prayers in my thread as well.

As far as praying for others, the fact that you took the time to post this means your intention is compassion for these people. When someone comes into mind, pray that God's Will be done in their life.
Nightmares are messages of deep inner struggles. These dreams are trying to tell you something.
When you are being purified by the fire, ugly things bubble to the surface. Most people want to exempt these things but they are to be embraced. Face these fears and know that you are no longer bound to them.
I have dreams about war heroes who mutilate civilians and fellow military members. I don't know that this dream in particular is a struggle for myself, as I have never been to war. My father has, but he is not dangerous like my nightmares assume. I will try and remember that I'm not bound to them.

Is God telling you to go to war?

Hello, friend. You are to be commended for your desire to want to uphold others in your prayers. It is a very real, extremely important ministry to which the Lord has called you. No detail of our lives, no concern about our loved ones, can ever escape God’s notice, and I believe He is pleased when we bring even the smallest of our needs to Him in prayer. In fact, He instructs us to do so: “In everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God” (Philippians 4:6).

Also, I’m sorry to hear about your nightmares. I’m praying, asking God to surround you with His love, care and protection. May He give you wisdom and help you to sleep well in the days ahead.

Hmm. Perhaps? Go to war for God? Become a prayer warrior? Why the violence backed by a maniac in my dream then? I know you won't be able to answer all these questions, but darn it if you didn't give such a good answer yourself.

I am surrounded and thankful, I hope you are in the same loving situation as myself.

Prayer warrior seems adequate. :)
