Sometimes when reading through the titles f threads I find some who seem to prefer to peddle despair than to give hope.

Ordinarily when I feel this way, I do ot say anything but lately there is a discussion of predestination with many saying God knew us as predestined to be saved before the creation. This is a propogation of hoelessness.

If we who believe Jesus Christ are to be adopted as Children of the Most High, how can it be that we were already saved before creation, and how could the One Who IS Love do such a thing to those who believe yet are not foreknown by Him?

Common sense tells me that yes, it is possible our Fasthe foreknew all who can be saved, but this does not translate as they all come to Him…… Also, there is a finite number of souls to be saved, not foreknow but being brought about by those who seek……...this only our Father knows, but we as His faithful must always seek to share faith, hope and love………….

All true mystery will be revealed by our Father in His time...…..I know when God's Holy Spirit entered into me, I realized in an instand that I wanted nothing todow with this age because He is all…...and All is everything. Praise God, and stay away from a message of despair, for Jesus Christ's sake, amen.

I understand how you feel and sadly trying to convince people otherwise seems like hitting a brick wall over and over again. I understand God is all knowing and I have no doubt he knew all that would transpire before it even began however I can't help but feel that when it comes to salvation it's different. I mean to predestine people to be hell bound no matter what they do is completely against his character and by that logic their lives had no real meaning to begin with. I mean maybe they impacted people and the world but if they just end up in hell in the end then why does it matter?

I honestly cannot understand the mindset that simply accepts that some are heaven bound and others are hell bound. if this was how it is then God did not love the world that he sent his only son to die he he sent his only son to die for those he chose.

Blain, The reason God gets such a bad rap is that people have been turned off to what God is doing with mankind. Bottom line: He is not dealing with all mankind on a spiritual level right now. He is building His first fruits church to lead the world into The Kingdom of God.

Antichrist got into the mainstream Christian movement very early in history. He then substituted a gospel about Jesus rather than the gospel of Jesus. The real Christians are a peculiar little group that have been persecuted down through history. God is only getting started with his overall plan of salvation. The rest of His salvation plan will be very good news, indeed. Today, it will not be believed by mainstream Christianity. :)
