I think we all have our strengths that could lead to our potential ministry or calling, right? I think it is worth examining. Our gifts dwell within our strengths. I know our gifts certainly empowers our lives and our faiths.

The gifts of the spirit are seen it seems most when we are using our gifts. Isn't that such a sweet dance, between our spirit and His. Now before I lose you masculine readers, let me step out of this feminine tone.

Shoot, how do I do that... I am a chick (a female person, lol). Let me get back to just doing me. And let me just get to asking you. I would love to hear about your gifts and how you came to know that they are your gifts. Do your gifts have a history or a story? Were they discovered and developed with self exploration or through others telling you? Are they what inspired your ministry or are they your ministry? I welcome the opportunity to know y'all better.

I'll tell you what, you CC dwellers, so many I read here are such beautiful thinkers. I believe God is using you, truly. Hey, He teaches us to focus on that which is praise worthy; therefore, I'm not blowing smoke, just applying His instruction.

I can already see the thread escatation coming up because of ppl hi believe spiritual gifts have quit
Ive interpreted tongues atand times, seen people delivered through prayers,..
God has let me have gifts many times. From small up ive had encounters with God and. The enemy.
Ive always felt set apart. I used to rake pride in it. Now after seeing the power of God more and moremore..its humbling that he uses me to help people. Im made of dust and God uses people for a holy kingdom

you probably like the verse "o death where is thy sting, o grave where is thy victory"

and that you're so used to pain that if you are not afraid of pain, you are not afraid of death

is my guess accurate?

Psalm 116:3-9 &
3 The sorrows of death compassed me, and the pains of hell gat hold upon me: I found trouble and sorrow.
4 Then called I upon the name of the Lord; O Lord, I beseech thee, deliver my soul.
5 Gracious is the Lord, and righteous; yea, our God is merciful.
6 The Lord preserveth the simple: I was brought low, and he helped me.
7 Return unto thy rest, O my soul; for the Lord hath dealt bountifully with thee.
8 For thou hast delivered my soul from death, mine eyes from tears, and my feet from falling.
9 I will walk before the Lord in the land of the living.

13-19
13 I will take the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the Lord.
14 I will pay my vows unto the Lord now in the presence of all his people.
15 Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints.
16 O Lord, truly I am thy servant; I am thy servant, and the son of thine handmaid: thou hast loosed my bonds.
17 I will offer to thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call upon the name of the Lord.
18 I will pay my vows unto the Lord now in the presence of all his people.
19 In the courts of the Lord's house, in the midst of thee, O Jerusalem. Praise ye the Lord.

I remember how I can't swim, and whenever my nose get's in my water, my head feels like it's burning on fire, all because my inside nostril feel the water, like why would the feeling of pain feel far bigger than the cause? (the head is clearly bigger than nostrils,:ROFL::ROFL:) that was funny and unintended

on a more serious note,
my question is, I know that you have experienced root canal, and the feeling of pain probably feels bigger than the size of that tooth, my question is, have you worried about, if you were to die a painful death, by who knows, severe illness, which is super common, if your whole body feels pain, would the pain feel like it's the size of a house? and how did Psalms 116 help you overcome the fear of pain that can be the size of a whole house?

im not very worried about my root canal. the pain was doable. i ended up having a root tip recection because the tooth ot infected again after the root canal.
I keep an eye on it. as long as it does not turn dark all is well. Im not in pain as the tooth is dead. If it turns dark or so, I will get a implant. Until then ill just let it be
I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.
I nearly died a few months ago, with prayer God snatched me again
Faith and knowing God. Trusting God even when it gets hard is the key
