Your response is most confusing. You say he might have been saved or he might be still lost but just so long as he doesn't 'cease' to believe in Jesus . . . he'll be all right.

You are saying that a person can live a life of sin no matter how degrading, as long as he doesn't 'cease' believing in Jesus?

Are you saying that you have a modified anti-OSAS view?

Because gosh, you can't have this guy lose his salvation now can you, because that would mean that he could never get it back (according to your earlier statement). And we both know the problem you will have with that theory, right?

Live as wicked at the Devil, only, just don't stop believing, and you'll be okay.

Here is your earlier statement . . .
My stance has always been consistent..

We are saved by Believing Jesus and Trusting in the atonement He secured for our salvation..

It is NOT based upon our performance in sin elimination or good works frequency..

Also i have added that Willfully sinning after being saved ( which is different to sinning ) does disqualify one from salvation..

Also i have stated before the Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is a sin that shall never have forgiveness in this world or the next..

As for the guy in question in the scriptures you quoted.. I do not say either way if He was saved or if He was not saved,, If his sinning was willful or not.. We can only go on the information provided.. And the information does not reveal this information..

He was not dead so he could not have blasphemed the Holy Spirit. You can't be forgiven once you are dead. You are not saying that there are two unforgivable sins, are you?

Did this guy willfully sin? Paul says he was a Christian. How? Because he was a member of the church - and Paul writing under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit would clearly have made a distinction if the guy were lost. Paul wasn't fooled.

"But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat. For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within? But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person" (I Corinthians 5:11-13).

The man was a BROTHER . . .

You mean, like the police? What worldly authorities? Are you saying the lieutenants of the 'prince of the power of the air?'

I'll stick with Satan . . . that's what the text says and I see no reason for the ambiguity.

And where do you get 'executed?'

If he was executed then how does he show up again in II Corinthians?
Worldly kingdoms are not our Kingdom... Jesus said::

John 18: KJV
35 "Pilate answered, Am I a Jew? Thine own nation and the chief priests have delivered thee unto me: what hast thou done? {36} Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence."

I'll stick with Jesus...

Destruction of the flesh = execution..

And i never said He was executed.. I said that Paul advised them to hand the man over to the worldly authorities to be executed.. I never said that did..

I guess these aren't really people then?

"Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation. For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same: For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil" (Romans 13:1-4).

What has death to do with blasphemy of the Holy Spirit? The Scribe who committed blasphemy of the Holy Spirit by claiming that Jesus was possessed by a demon was not executed on the spot.. And anyway where did i ever say that people get executed for bl;asphemy of the Holy Spirit ??? I never said such a thing at all... Please take time to read my replies.. You replies are coming in very fast which leads me to believe you are responding way to quickly..

There is only one unforgivable sin.. Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit.. All other sins can be forgiven if we believe jesus and trust in the atonement Jesus secured for our salvation..

So you say a person can still be saved after they die?

You are really getting confused. I said nothing about being executed for the blasphemy of the Holy Spirit.

So, now if I answer you quickly, somehow I am . . . what?

What???? Please expand your posts to include whom you are saying are not people..
Seriously? Read the passage I supplied . . . Romans 13. Worldly authorities can't mean one thing in one passage and then another somewhere else.

You stated that only by willfully sinning could one be lost and could never be saved again. You tried to suggest that this guy was not a believer . . . or that you couldn't say one way or the other.

You have backed yourself into a corner.

Now you are pasting positions onto me that i have not stated...

Your totally losing it...
You know, I'm really not posting to you at all . . . there are a lot of searching souls that are looking for answers. I have given them a glimpse of speculation vs. authority. I leave the results to God.

If this is the case, that willful sin causes one to lose salvation then I got some bad news people! Very few, if anyone is saved.

Ok i will go through your passage and identify the ones who are human and the ones who are not human.. This is absolutely ridiculous that i have to go to this extent with your illogical responses to my posts.. Lets go..

"Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers.:: Ok these souls are human..

For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God:: Ok God is Not a human..

Whosoever therefore resisteth the power:: Ok the whosoever here is referring to humans..

, resisteth the ordinance of God:::
OK God is not a human..

and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation:::. They that resist here are human

For rulers are not a terror to good works,:: Ok the rulers here are human..

but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power?:: Thou here is referring to the reader that being human..

do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same: For he is the minister of God to thee for good.:: The minister here is a Human

But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; The thou here is a human..

for he beareth not the sword in vain: The He here is a human..

for he is the minister of God,:: The minister here is a human..

a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil
":: The revenger here is a human..

(Romans 13:1-4).

There you go.. I have answered you question even though it has nothing whatsoever to do with the topic at hand..

Paul didn't say he was a brother, stop adding your errant theology to God's word. He said a man that is "called" a brother. Get your act together and stop distorting the word of God.

You're showing the utter weakness of both your understanding of Scripture and your faulty hermeneutic...

If there is no more sacrifice for willful sin, then willfull sin can never be forgiven. Which means no one would be saved wouldn’t it? Who does not commit willful sin after they are saved?
