Would you want to hang out with somebody who took pleasure in shoplifting or wanted to rob a bank?

Would you want to attach yourself to mean people who derive pleasure in gossip, slander, and judging?

Would you want to hang out with ppl that cheated on their partner, and ran around playing with the hearts of others

Would you want to spend much of your time with someone who is wrapped up in themselves, who gives only little because that is their choice?

How about liars, you want to associate with ppl you can never trust?

Or those who are angry full of contention and negativity…

Or

Would you rather seek out those with integrity, the honest, decent, patient, kind, loyal, merciful, and selfless kind.

Isn't this why we want to walk in the spirit, clinging to Only true righteous One? How can we commune or expect Him to with us, if our thoughts and actions completely oppose who He is? We often talk about works (law) versus Grace. I think that we over complicate it. I know that I do, anyway. He saves us from our wretched selves so that we can start dwelling in the presence of Him. We all fall short, or sometimes long, lol, but having Him in our lives points to the value of our lives. We cherish the gift of Him and we yearn to reach for His magnificence. His mighty and beautiful grace inspires the desire and empowers our follow through to get the jobs done. Sure we want eternity, one with pleasures evermore, but I think the saving part we need to focus on most is the power He gives us, through Grace abound, to love and care for one another, right now. He saves us eternally from our wicked selfish and prideful estates.

Together, Brothers and Sisters, let's walk in His victory.

Plus and I'm just curious how does that apply, curious to understand and pick your brain, bro.
To answer both posts....I do not believe the partiality aspect necessarily applies unto who we prefer to associate with when it comes to fellowship....the partiality aspect applies to how we deal with all people......I will cite a couple of real world examples....

a. Who am I apt to forgive and be more merciful unto when it comes to lying to me....My brother or someone who I do not know?....<---most in partiality would afford a family member more grace and mercy as opposed to someone we hardly know <---this is being partial

b. Concerning fellowship....In honor we prefer one another like the verse states...why? The world loves it's own and we are not of the world but from above.....

We can in honor prefer one another's company as believers while still being impartial with how we treat ALL people......does this make sense to you...

Berean Literal Bible
devoted to one another in brotherly love, esteeming one another in honor,

New American Standard Bible
Be devoted to one another in brotherly love; give preference to one another in honor;

King James Bible
Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another;

Wait doesn't He tell us not to show partially?
Romans 2. God shows no favoritism.
Romans 2:11 For there is no partiality with God.

Acts 10:34
Then Peter opened his mouth and said: 'In truth I perceive that God shows no partiality.
