Never confuse Law and Grace, the old testament is about Law keeping, the New Testament is about GRACE gifted.
Hebrews tells us that the new covenant (testament) was begun at the death of the one who made it (Jesus Christ) The entire ministry of Christ was under the Law, before the Cross. So the division of Law and Grace is at the Cross
Yes,JESUS Is the mediator.

Galatians 3:23-25
Before the coming of this faith, we were held in custody under the law, locked up until the faith that was to come would be revealed. 24 So the law was our guardian until Christ came that we might be justified by faith. 25 Now that this faith has come, we are no longer under a guardian.

I wish it had ten.
Do you have some far flung "context" that nullifes these verses?

Galatians 3:23-25

Nope. Neither do I have an unteachable arrogant disposition.
Is that a fact?
How would you refute this scripture?

Cults love law keeping because their heirarchy uses it to manipulate the members of the group. IE: Branch Dividians, Jehovah Witnesses, Peoples Temple (Jim Jones), and many more. One of the many tools used by those esoteric groups.

Right.
Don't forget the SDAs (Seventh Day Adventists) and COG (Armstrongism)
I suppose there are many more.

ASV 2 Corinthians 3:14-17 ****

14. but their minds were hardened: for until this very day at the reading of the old covenant the same veil remaineth, it not being revealed to them that it is done away in Christ.

15. But unto this day, whensoever Moses is read, a veil lieth upon their heart.

16. But whensoever it shall turn to the Lord, the veil is taken away.

17. Now the Lord is the Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

Are you still locked up under the guardianship of the law? Imprisoned by choice?
Jesus paid the price so that you can walk free. Get out of that dark hole!

God is the law. He sent Jesus Christ so that we would better understand the laws and values of heaven.
The 10 commandments are the law.
But somewhere; the scribes and pharisees Jesus warned us about - changed the law and corrupted God's word into their own bigotry and lack of grace.
Jesus Christ is the answer to everything. Focus on what he focused upon. But so many christian men & women seem still to be focusing on the things the pharisees and scribes sought to make important.
There's nothing complicated about God's law. It's simple but add the cabals and secret clubs of men and women and you end up with distortion. Corruption. Condemnation and deception.
Please God forgive me if I am wrong.

The ten commandments can not show you how to be righteous, It is not a complete list of every sin one can commit. It is a general list, of sins God chose to put in stone, which shoudl prove to all men and women that we have sinnd and fall short of gods glory. Paul called them the ministry of death, because that is what they are. Because whoever does not keep every one is cursed. And the curse (penalty) is death.

That definition seems to be too simplistic. Jesus' teachings on the law and Jesus' teachings on magnifying the law, like if you think lustfully you have committed adultery or if you hate you have committed murder. Heb_13:8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever. Jesus also taught that many "traditions" nullify the Word of God, that is the Torah/Instructions/Laws, statues, commandments, ordinances, etc. It may very well be that God/Jesus laws are very good and man's laws are suspect of making the good void.

Psa_19:7 The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.

Were the TCs engraved in letters on stone?

If so, the TCs, according to this scripture are the transitory ministry of the letter, which kills, that brought death and condemnation that has no glory now. Other than that, pretty glorious.

2 Corinthians 3:6-11
e has made us competent as ministers of a new covenant—not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life. 7 Now if the ministry that brought death, which was engraved in letters on stone, came with glory, so that the Israelites could not look steadily at the face of Moses because of its glory, transitory though it was, 8 will not the ministry of the Spirit be even more glorious? 9 If the ministry that brought condemnation was glorious, how much more glorious is the ministry that brings righteousness! 10 For what was glorious has no glory now in comparison with the surpassing glory. 11 And if what was transitory came with glory, how much greater is the glory of that which lasts!

and then they come to sites like this and try to convince Christians that we do not know what we know.

You, once again, are using the OT to make your argument. Your argument is not witih me, but with God, apparently you think He was mistaken to replace the blood of animals with the blood of Christ, which satisfied the sin debt forever. Trying to graft yourself into the cultivated olive tree just won't work and quoting scripture text OUT OF CONTEXT is PRETEXT.

The Law is our tutor, shows us our need of Christ, our helplessness in achieving our own righteousness. All the Christians I know love the Word, hate sin and try their best to be good people and do good for others. Jesus said that was the fulfillment of the Law. Now be good and stop being a grouch.

Are you punished for not doing what you ought to do?
As I have said before, wrong choices can and will bring bad results. Cause and effect.
Drink poison and you die. Cause-- the poison Effect- death
I would say that from MY own experience, the Holy Spirit will not leave me rest until I make right was I did wrong. And that can be THE cause that makes me "effect" correctly.
