Just an fyi BBB, ForestGreenCook believes that the verses in Romans 1:18-23 are written concerning born again believers who are "disobedient children of God".

ForestGreenCook does not believe Romans 1:18-32 is written about the unbeliever.

Well, FGC is absolutely wrong . . . well, he 'does' believe that if a person is elect it doesn't matter if he goes through the narrow way or the broad past that leads to destruction! HA!

I believe ForestGreenCook came to his conclusion about the Rom 1:18-32 verses because of what is written in Rom 1:20-21. ForestGreenCook does not understand the fact that the natural, physical realm reveals God's eternal power and Godhead.

Because of unbelief.

yet romans 1 says they have no excuse.

If you can not understand, you have an excuse.. God is not going to be mocked by refusing to allow people to understand..
I have told you before, but I will tell you again, so you can forget again. God by his foreknowledge saw that no one would seek him and none would do any good, no, not one.(Ps 53:2-3). The action that God took, which was to choose an elect people out of those that would not seek him and give them to his Son to cleanse them from all their sins making them holy and without blame (Eph 1:4) and after they were born into this world God regenerated them and put his Holy Spirit within them (Epg 2:5) so that he would have a people that would praise and worship him. Had God not done this, there would have been no one to worship and praise him. The natural man cannot discern spiritual things and will never believe in spiritual laws of God, repent of a spiritual law that he thinks that it is foolish, accept Jesus as his spiritual savor. Believing, accepting, repenting, confessing are all products of being regenerated. Maybe if God had not given them a free will as to how they wanted to live their lives he might not have had to choose a people.

reneweddaybyday, thinks that the natural man, void of the Spirit, has no trouble discerning spiritual things and he does not think that they are foolishness, even though that is what 1 Cor 2:14 says. I do not think that he understands just how depraved his fleshly nature is.

And you can tell me until your blue in the face. And I would still not believe you.

God saw according to his will. Your ignoring the will of God and what Jesus said.

He chose based on who would believe, He saw who would believe.

Believing a false doctrine, as you do, is destructive to Jesus's doctrine.

And you say that his plan, or will, is to save all mankind, then I guess eternal life in heaven will include all of mankind, according to you.
So you follow the attitude up with lies. How low you go..

I never said all mankind, Jesus said ALL WHO BELIEVE.

John 6: This is the will of the Father who sent Me, that of all He has given Me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up at the last day. 40 And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day.”

Your argument is With Jesus NOT ME

reneweddaybyday is a she.

reneweddaybyday believes the natural man, void of the Spirit, can clearly see God's eternal power and Godhead as all of creation reveals that to all.

Romans 1:20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse

when you claim that the natural man, void of the Spirit, cannot ascertain God's eternal power and Godhead as reveals through creation, you give the excuse to those who suppress the truth in unrighteousness (Rom 1:18).

It does to the regenerate, but it does not to the natural man who has not been regenerated.
Psalm 19:

1 The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.

2 Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge.

3 There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard.

4 Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun,

vs 1 - the heavens declare the glory of God and reveal His handiwork.

vs 2 - day unto day the heavens utter speech and night unto night knowledge is revealed.

vs 3 - the voice of the heavens speaks to all languages.

vs 4 - the line of the heavens goes out through all the earth ... and their words to the end of the world.

The natural, physical realm reveals God's eternal power and Godhead ... whether you believe it or not.

Nature does reveal the glory and majesty of God (though they can not reveal His mercy). The verses you posted prove that without doubt. Nature points to God . . .

But . . .

the man that chooses to worship nature (the creature) rather than the Creator is not saved. He has rejected God totally.

Did you take a wide black marker and blot out Psalms 53:2-3? because you are still saying God, when he looked down, saw some that would believe, out of those that he said would not seek him and out of those that he saw that does nothing good

I thought I read where you think that God wants to eternally save all mankind. If that is not your belief, then I am sorry that I accused you. The only people that spiritually see the Son and believes that he is their spiritual Savor are those that are regenerated which are the elect that Christ died for, those that his Father choose and gave to him. According to the natural man described in 1 Cor 2:14 that man cannot discern such spiritual things and thinks that they are foolish.

I understand that all of that is revealed to the regenerated man. Ask a person that does not believe that there is a God and see if he has been revealed the same things that is revealed to you. (the natural man) God is a Spirit and the natural man does not believe in spiritual things.

I think you are being an obstinate child . . . of course 'God is not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.'

Take it up with Peter if you don't like that he is not a Calvinist!

Ps 53 does not trump John 6. Sorry my friend..Your interpretation is faulty because you do not understand what Gods will is.

Go ahead, Show me where I ever said that, I have quotes john 6 numerous times now. Almost every one of my posts.. You make things worse every time you post. Try to think before you speak. And read what people say do not just assume you know.
