Hello brothers and sisters in Christ :):)

I am creating this thread to display some of my digital designs.
Many of them are inspired in part by posts and threads that you have made.
All of them are expressions of love for God and His holy living eternal Word,
driven by a desire to share the love that He has so freely poured out upon my life.

This is the most recent one I have designed. It is a Christmas card for all of you :)

This one was suggested by @calibob, whom I have been collaborating with
in the design of other templates as well. You may have noticed his siggy ;)
I will be putting a little gecko on any templates that Bob has had a hand
in helping me design through his invaluable attention to detail, feedback,
and critical analysis. It helps that he loves my work  I hope y'all do, too :)

This is one I designed recently; one of my favourites.
It is the gospel message in my own words according
to my understanding of Scripture. Of course there is
always much more that can be said, but I try to keep
it to a minimum, since there is only so much space
on any one template to express the desired intent :)

I started making these templates earlier this year :)
During the making of this one, I was suddenly seized
with the thought that I have no idea what I am doing.
LOL. I am normally very spontaneous in the making
of my creations, though there is a method to my madness :D

Here is some music for you to listen to

I made this one for Bob :):) It is dated November 5, 2018,
which was two days before the fourteenth anniversary of my baptism.

Make the trumpet angel smaller, put the left-side humming bird up higher so it's parallel with the other one.. Take out the black person with the drum. Make the dove and the eagle slightly smaller. And move the ghecko to where it can be seen better.. It blends in too much at the bottom..

Move the baby angel up higher and put the sheep that is in front of the trumpet angel, to where the baby angel was..

Your pictures are always way too crowded at the bottom.. Recombobulate some of it.. lol

I do not know who wrote this poem... it was not me :)

One of my favorite professors in college told me a project
he gave us to complete was "Quite strong in design quality."

Self portrait, March 20, 1975

I added the points of light to my eyes for posting here :)
I was dead when I painted that self portrait, but am alive now.
Thank you, Jesus!

The theme was different Christmas carols to begin with. The little drummer boy, the nativity and the furry stable mates were keeping time with the drummer boy. The "I have no gifts to bring In the hands of God came from the little drummer boy. When she found this one I thought he was cute and the drum could be 1st century. She was concerned he might look out of place.

I thought about and remembered Jerusalem was the eastern trading hub For the whole area. An inn may very well have Roman, Greek, or Ethiopian guests. Though that part may have only been a song the message is clear. Come as you are.

Unto us a child is born is for the nativity scene. Which has the other message MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Guess who might be on a well dressed camel coming from the east?

Can you see blues version of the same with cats instead of sheep?
Bob, you more than anyone else are coming to know that most every element I use is chosen with care for the message I am attempting to convey :) I have made some small alterations to the card  One of them was to change the grassy backgrounds slightly so the ox would not look like it was free floating :giggle::giggle::giggle:

I never noticed that. Thank you.
It was more that the ox and the camel needed to be on the same level of ground :D

Thank you for all your helpful feedback, and for suggesting this Christmas card panel in the first place :)

I remade this template in appreciation and acknowledgment of all Bob brings.
I originally created it based on a post Bob made in the Not By Works thread.

Its first looked like this:

This is one of my earlier endeavors, which I dedicated
to Gracie when she asked for this particular Scripture,
likely the most well known and well loved of all :):)

I designed this one in February of this year specifically
as a Valentine card for Seoulsearch, to acknowledge her
unfailing kindness toward me, as well as her outstanding
contributions to the Christian Chat forums :) I was thrilled
that she liked it so much :D It took about 18 hours to create.

After I made that special card for @seoulsearch, I wanted to make one for everybody :)

So I created this panel as a way to show my appreciation for all of you :)

I added a border to it this morning :D
