Tis the season, a time of Thanksgiving. To be honest, though, I haven't been feeling it. I mean not for any reason. Well, there has been something bugging me, but much more than it should. I just had lost the spark and a little faith in mankind.. Again, not for any good reason, just got in my head. But I want to share my day and show how one day can make a difference.

Well to be honest, I think the shift started since my cousin came to visit. I have been smiling a bit, more and more, since our fun time of fellowship. Her influence has brought me that warm holiday feeling.

Today, it was a simple day. It started with partaking in a little bible study. Then after that, I touched base with some sister friends and some more family. Those visits were brief but so gosh darn cathartic. Then, I went to my grandson's football game and enjoyed more time with family. The weather was so beautiful. Then, I came home and had just a nice session with one very precious client who is also a great friend.

Now, I'm sitting here with my dogs in front of the fire, writing about this nothing ordinary day fill with magical moments. I am filled with peace and joy, thanking my Lord for so many things.

I hope you realize just how precious you are, how your loves lives are so blessed with you. I also hope we take the time to thank our Lord for all our loves, and most of all to thank Him for Him.

The sentence in the 4th paragraph was suppose to read...

Now, I'm sitting here with my dogs in front of the fire, writing about this ordinary day fill with magical moments.

Oh how I wish I could edit. Yeah, I clearly have issues.

Oh I found another glitch...

Then, I came home and had such a nice session with one very precious client who is also a great friend.

Yes, this is the day that the Lord has made... Last saturday was another full weekend day, with more demands than many previous saturdays. But i just conserved energy and time before the day, and went about what i had to. Results not what i expected, but it was still a day to thank the Lord for and rejoice. Yest. was some travel after church, but the same... thanksgiving and rejoicing, after seeing son at the dorm, who could not come home for the weekend, then inlaws and nephews just having simple fun running in the grass with the wind.

More demands wow, your resolve to keep on keeping on is amazing :O!!! I think some of it is in your appreciation of the simple abundance that comes along.
