This Is The Day To Awaken From Sleep,

So many times we hear people speculating about
about the end of time. Start getting ready is the
phrase most often used. My view is this that we
should be ready every hour of every day and if not
then why not. If we are not ready in Christ always
then what are we doing. The apostles were even
speculating on such things and hundreds of others
ever since. Many have articulated through Bible
verses their accounts of when with strong evidence
in scripture as to when. So far every single one of
them has obviously been wrong. Still after all this
time the speculation continues, the verses are
dutifully trotted out and the time will be soon. Well
how do you define soon. Yes it will be soon if a
million years is soon or any year in between. My
humble advice is surrender to the Lord our God with
all our hearts and let His will and not ours be done.
Do that today and everyday and regardless of the
when and how we are sure that God will bring us
home. Each day gets brighter without us having
to recon what will happen and when. Love is
all we need today and love is all we'll ever need.

Mat 24:42 Watch therefore: for ye know not on what day your Lord cometh.
Mat 25:13 Watch therefore, for ye know not the day nor the hour.
Mar 13:33 Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.
Mar 13:35 Watch therefore: for ye know not when the lord of the house cometh, whether at even, or at midnight, or at cockcrowing, or in the morning;
Mar 13:36 lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping.
Mar 13:37 And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.

Amen, just 'be ready', for all we know it could b the next second, and that's a sobering thought. Good message.

We won't know? Oh really; then what do we do about these scriptures?

1 Thess. 5:1-6 "But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober."

Matt. 24:32, 33
"Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors."

We read them and then be ready for God in that moment and all the
rest of our time. Regardless of what you read it will not bring you to
the end of the end time. Love God every single moment of live and
that will bring you closer to Him regardless of end time

"If we are not ready in Christ always

Rough translation:

At the trumpet sound
At the trumpet sound
Jesus will come.

Let us make noise joyfully
All the redeemed will celebrate
Take pride in His holy presence
Our salvation is complete.

Hossana
Hossana
Hossana

Sing praise and rejoice
He will get us
In the blinking of an eye
At the last sound of the trumpet

At the sound of the trumpet
At the sound of the trumpet
Jesus is ... coming

Jesus the Lord The king of all
Jesus the Lord The king of all
Jesus the Lord The king of all

Jesus the Lord The king of all
Jesus the Lord The king of all
Jesus the Lord
The Lord of all

in the ancient Hebrew betrothal/marriage process, the father sets the day and hour of the marriage. the son, to be wed, though it is not a declaration of ignorance, whenever an inquiry is made about the date, says 'only the father knows'
