I got on here last night to log off and realized I hadn't logged on. I kept thinking I logged on somewhere, where was it? Then I realized I did it on "Conversations About Nothing in Particular." Oh well! Se la vie said the old folk. Good morning peeps. Happy Sunday to you.

In the family that I was raised we started celebrating on Christmas eve. We'd open presents before bed after visiting with cousins, aunts & uncles. Children would get up & play with the new toys while moms & aunts gathered in kitchens to prepare the annual feast and the grown men would talk about politics, work & finally sports. It always seemed to take twice as long to cook the stuffed bird than the instructions said it would. After blessing the food the yumminess always trumped our impatience and we would try and remain careful not to scratch the floor or snag the rug when pushing away from the table and the adults may take hours to say thank you, Goodnight & be careful.

Now I'm the grand father. The one and only they'll ever know and I'm still looking forward to seeing a happy family, delighted children and very full tummies by Tuesday night. I hope you have as merry a Christmas as I hope to have. Good morning have a memorable 4 day weekend at least as much time as you can get. Be blessed, be a blessing and thank the Lord for all things great and small.
