I have come to believe that through Paul’s epistles.....we are truly free from the bondage of the law, which is sin....I believe that those that are truly in Christ, are not under the jurisdiction of it....Paul said “nothing is unlawful unto me”.....he says this because he is fully persuaded of the truth....In Romans 14, it is clear to me, that if I do not cast a stumbling block before my weaker brethren, I have no chains in my liberty....furthermore, those of you that teach, or indoctrinate your fellow man, to impute sin upon himself, as most of the corporate church doctrine has come to do....are commiting heiracy...many pastors of the church age today...teach the congregation to impute sin upon themselves, when they are no longer slaves to the law...it is expedient to recognize what sin is and use it as a tool wisely, but heiracy to scare your congregation with hellfire, in the sense that if they do not stop sinning, they will die in that sin and go to hell....it is one of the great deceptions that Satan has used to water down what grace was intended to be....I have seen too many families torn apart by the judgement of one another as the doctrine has taken hold in so many throughout the church....Follow Paul, as he is the apostle to the Gentiles....you have no business in the 4 gospels, in which was Christ’s earthly ministry....under the law......I post this for edification, I would love for anyone to chime in on this amazing gift of salvation

I agree about Paul and that we are free from the law.
I 100% disagree on ignoring the Gospels! How can you say disregard the teachings of Jesus?

I said the entire Bible is for you....in regards to the gospels, they are not about you....I never said ignore any scripture, if that is what you read, I did not mean that....I was referring to rightly dividing the word of truth

If you tried to apply the book of Matthew to your life....Paul’s epistles would not make much sense

But...but...the teachings of Jesus are so effective and cleansing and make me feel closer with him????? If people were obeying the teachings of Jesus, we would just be having a much better time, but they are not, so we all suffer. Maranatha!

I guess they wouldn't? I have to do more research. I do not think obedience is imputing sin to ourselves, though, but a gift given by The Spirit. Of course, we can't be perfect. We needed Jesus for a reason! God bless you

Effective and cleansing for who? Following Matthew, applying it to the finished work of the cross, is heiracy....it makes Christ’s gift to us void...it was written for the lost sheep of Israel, and applied to a people under the law....why would Jesus want you live as though he did not die for you?

True, Jesus in the Gospels is primarily speaking to Jews and their laws.
However, Jesus’ message is that none of us can please God in our own efforts. Our version of right and wrong is not Gods version.
Without carful study of Jesus life and his example of Love we miss the message.
What is it that Paul says? We became a law to ourselves.
Jesus is who we are to imitate.

Plus, how do combat the influences to be under law if you do not study the teachings of Jesus against the law?

All scripture should be studied, and applied where appropriate....you guys are missing my point....the gospels were not written for you directly, applying them or teaching anyone to do so, only creates confusion....obviously much of what Jesus was teaching can be applied to all of us and should be....but according to the finished work of the cross, you will greatly confuse a babe in Christ if not carefully applied

It's not as if He didn't die for you, but why would He want us to do evil against one another and God? Jesus' words are the words of life.

Paul said “ follow me as I follow Jesus” following the gospel that was written for the lost sheep of Israel is a different message....Paul is your appostle and rightly divided the word of truth....if you try to apply what Jesus rightfully was teaching his apostles...your family and faith will not be strong in the Holy Spirit, you do not have to confess your sins to anyone, you do not have to ask forgiveness from someone who has already died for you...the gospel was written during Christ’s earthly ministry UNDER THE LAW which is contrary to the work of the cross!!

There is only one Gospel and even the OT reiterates this truth. You're incorrect rightlydivided.

You sir are seduced as the Galatians were....Jesus told his deciples to NOT go the way if the gentiles....how do you people miss this? How do you justify rebuking the body of Christ by preaching to your fellow brethren that they must confess their sins and repent in order to secure salavation?

I am not going to spend much more time on this...
The Gentiles while not being under THE law almost always
In a sense make up their own laws. We all Jew or Gentile invent standards to live by to justify ourselves. The teachings of Jesus in Gospels is a warning against that. Official or unofficial laws, Jew or Gentil we all attempt to be under our own made up laws.
The value of Jesus teachings and why they are so extremely important is in his message of filling him only. Without the Gospels we would not have his teachings or examples of what it is to serve God with love.
Jesus was on earth for a reason. He shows us how to live!
He died and was resurrected so we can live.

Then of course you put words in my mouth. Bro, if you cannot read what an uninspired human writes without eisegeting, it is easy to see how you do the same with Scripture.

I'm sorry to say this but you don't know what in the world you're talking about. You need to take a loooong walk away from DTS, Lewis Sperry Chafer, Charles Ryrie and Zane Hodges, only then would you see clearly. Some 100 years ago or so none of this nonsense was even taught, that should tell you something right there. You've been hoodwinked bro.

Paul disagrees with your antinomian beliefs.

Last book of the bible, book of Revelation. Jesus speaks to the CHURCHES, and He has no problems calling out their sins? Wonder whats going on there? how do you twist that in your belief system? Why does Jesus still see their sins? And make no mistake about it, its not to "the jews" it says CHURCHES.

Why did Paul write 1 Corinthians 6:9-10, galatians 5:19-21? Will you be addressing these texts? Probably not.
Why did Paul say the spiritual man judges all things? Why did Paul rebuke people? Why did Paul tell others in the ministry to rebuke and exhort? Why did Paul tell us to go by the wholesome words of our Lord Jesus Christ in 1 Timothy 6:3? Why did Paul preach repentance and faith, just like Jesus did? Why did Paul preach the SAME MESSAGE to Jews and Gentiles as we see here?

All these questions expose your weird warped new belief system as "heiracy". Or should I say heresy?

Act 26:19 Whereupon, O king Agrippa, I was not disobedient unto the heavenly vision:
Act 26:20 But shewed first unto them of Damascus, and at Jerusalem, and throughout all the coasts of Judaea, and then to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, and do works meet for repentance.

There it is. Same message for both jews and gentiles, repentance and faith, just like Jesus, just like Peter. Straight from Paul.

Act 20:21 Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.

There is only one gospel unto eternal salvation. There are many other gospel messages throughout Scripture especially pointing to the nation of Israel and the specific promises to that nation, aka the gospel of the kingdom of heaven.

Jesus speaks one Gospel to all, beginning with Abraham then to His own people in the people of the Hebrews and then to His own people in the Gentiles...…. If you believe He is speaking of the law to the then Jews, He is speaking the same to all.......One Gospel.
