Over the years here in Bible Discussion, I have heard how Christmas is basted on pagan celebrtions, although no one I know has ever thought of anything other than commemorating the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Oh how they moan and groan and complain how it is a pagan act to follow this harmless tradition of men, that date only I mean.

Why is it these same people do not moan and groan about the change to the solar calendar, celebrating New Year's Eveand day as though they are something more than the commemoration of various gods with their days of the week named fro false gods, and its origin in the pagan culture of the Romans……...? It is curious, almost diabolical.

I realize we only know the solar calendar so I say, with no false gods in mind, Happy New Year, one and all, and if you ever find time look into the Biblical lunar calendar. It is truly fascinating.
