if you are saying I failed LOL then I will accept that as victory in the word of God. You are no authority here and have none. In fact you should say thank you because I have provided Historical context to the Moving of the Holy after the early church age and the apostolic age of the church. Nothing of what I have posted is disputed with normative and orthodox Christian History. then you say '
You falsely accuse. You make claims here that you expect people to believe in a chat! Then when your challenged, you throw a tantrum.
You parrot words.

LOl Ok Prove it and try using good resources instead of your own thought process, it is most taxing.
Your historical list, which is merely a list of works of men. You left out the Catholic Church in the list. They make same claim as you. You left out Mormons. You left out Muslims and they make same claim as you. But you are the authority. Right? Your claims presented in this chat aren't able to be confirmed. And no one who loves God and trust Jesus and values their soul is stupid and foolish enough to believe your claims. I thank God he doesn't demand such stupidity. "CS1 said it, so it must be true! Got to believe it."
Stupidity.

Yes, I know it's taxing on you. You got to change your tactic whenever you face new holes in your ship.

No new knowledge. The existing knowledge in respect to exisiting prophecy. The perfect is still informing its hearers as our daily bread.
Do you know why you are wrong?
Because the Word of God is not dead.
You again do not know what you are talking about.
Prophecy is not today adding to what is canonized.
It is the Holy Spirit providing and application for the purpose of edification, comfort and building up the believer we Receive wisdom, knowledge, and understanding to apply to our lives as we live today for Christ. For you to be right that would not happen. If the Holy Spirit is still teaching ,leading, and guiding , and filling and empowering to be a witness nothing has stopped. Until this Gospel is Preached to all the World Then the END SHALL COME> FYI PUAL IN !COR !# verse 8-9 does not Null & void the very Command of the Lord. Jesus said this so clearly 1. Paul was mistaken which HE was not 2. YOU are mistaken because you have built a doctrine one verse found in1cor 13.

Well, you're WRONG BS1. AGAIN. He laid it all out. And why would you ask for proof? You've been aligning everyone who asks for proof up with the children of the devil.
that is Cs1, you are a child and clearly have an issue with insults and lack of Biblical understanding.

You are the one who is out of context.
Has knowledge stopped? YES it has.

Jer 31:
31Behold, the days are coming, declares the LORD,
when I will make a new covenant
with the house of Israel
and with the house of Judah.
32It will not be like the covenant
I made with their fathers
when I took them by the hand
to lead them out of Egypt—
a covenant they broke,
though I was a husband to them,f
declares the LORD.
33“But this is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel
after those days, declares the LORD.
I will put My law in their minds
and inscribe it on their hearts.
And I will be their God,
and they will be My people.
34No longer will each man teach his neighbor or his brother,
saying, ‘Know the LORD,’
because they will all know Me,

from the least of them to the greatest, declares the LORD.
For I will forgive their iniquity
and will remember their sins no more.”

In the new covenant, the knowledge should reside within the people and no one should appoint themselves to authority and say they have knowledge to teach others. So, knowledge ceased too.

It a topic under discussion, so no need to get enraged.
Again, the apostles raised the dead, it can't happen today; a clear sign of cessation.
You can try to dissuade but it wont change the fact that people have been reduced to babbling meaningless words with their tongue.

must be hard to fight against the pricks

where have I heard that before?

btw, fighting or kicking against the pricks actually means to kick against sharp wooden or metal object and hurt yourself

I believe people may have to answer for their reference to tongues as babbling meaningless words but it seems no one can keep you from your self harming tendencies

I hope I'm standing next to you when you are asked about your words "meaningless babble".

People have been raised from the dead. And people have been healed. It's not our will that we exercise. It's His. Otherwise one will hear...I never knew you.

Have you forgotten what Jesus said?

Mark 16:20 Then his disciples went out and preached everywhere, while the Lord kept working with them and confirming the message by the signs that accompanied it.

Without Him we can do NOTHING!

without reading what you wrote regarding the meaningless babble phraseology, I just wrote that I believe folks might have to answer for that

it's really not a good place to be in IMO

Who says the dead are no longer raised? I've seen it happen. But then again, you will claim I'm an unreliable witness.
frankly, I believe every time someone accepts Christ as their Redeemer, the dead are raised to life!

but then we get to choose if we want to continue in our own flesh and fail, or accept the gifts to men God offers through His Spirit

the Bible does say believers are sealed by the Holy Spirit at conversion, but that is step 1 as so many acknowledge

that is your opinion. I have heard anyone boasting that they have the Gifts of the Holy Spirit. We, at least those who agree with the gifts have not ceased, are saying the word of God does not say they have stopped. But you continue now to lie, why? Is it because you cannot Biblically prove your point. Or is it you have loss your influence on those who now question your understanding of the word of God? we stand by 1cor chpater 12 to 14 mark 16, Mathhew 28 Acts 2 and 10 and other chapters we stand with the Move of the Spirit of God seen in the Old Testament. You just posted all of that and not even one Biblical verse to support your assertion .
Nothing but accusations.......like I said....I fully expect those that push tongues to argue.......like they say in Australia.........whatevzzz mate

Salvation is not about tongues and miracles; salvation is the gospel and gifts worked only to help in preaching the gospel. When the apostles were done with preaching the gospel, salvation came and is now for those that believe what was preached in the 1st century (meaning the scriptures).
dude it ain't about dusting off a familiar pew on the chosen day of your worship either and listening to a dead sermon drummed up by human intelligence

where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty, chains come off and people get to raise their grateful hands and praise their Savior because He lives and rescued them from the kingdom of darkness

what positive word have we heard from you here? no life!!!...just judgement and condemnation and the ironic thing is that you judge yourself with every word you use to condemn others

4 And we have such trust through Christ toward God. 5 Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think of anything as being from ourselves, but our sufficiency is from God, 6 who also made us sufficient as ministers of the new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life. II Corinthians 3: 4-6

no Spirit? NO life!!!! and you keep rejecting Him....:(

Wow! Now coming from you...that's about as close to a miracle as any thing I've ever seen. Wait. CS1, is that you?
I do not need the insults and mis-quoting my name as an insult only cowards do that.

oh we know where you stand

obviously the argument here is by those who deny the gifts. push tongues? no...that is a gift from God through His Spirit

which of course you are free to deny both here and down under, although there are certainly multiplied thousands who speak in tongues in the land of kangaroos too

ALL gifts ceased, ALL.
You needed to know their purpose:

Heb 2:
1We must pay closer attention, therefore, to what we have heard, so that we do not drift away. 2For if the message spoken by angels was binding, and every transgression and disobedience received its just punishment, 3how shall we escape if we neglect such a great salvation?

This salvation was first announced by the Lord, was confirmed to us by those who heard Him, 4and was affirmed by God through signs, wonders, various miracles, and gifts of the Holy Spirit distributed according to His will.

They helped in spreading the gospel; that chapter was done with. It is end times now.
you are truly in a sorry state

so no teachers, evangelists or gifts of helps?

no wonder you are so negative...you have come to the desert of your own doing instead of the fountain of living waters

I am a mod and I would not ban him because it would be seen as abuse of my power. I can hold my own. But one should watch how they attack others in here.
