I do not deny the Holy Spirit, but rather the view that some mumbo jumbo, fleshly, charismatic mumbling is from or of God......Like I said...when one who has no training can speak fluid Mandarin and another interpret for a Chinese speaking visitor that does not understand English....then the purpose of tongues is seen......

CS1 I was falsely accused by you from the beginning of our responses. I also read your responses to others. They too contain same heated words.
I think you said you speak in tongues. You said you get 'het' (hot?) when people don't believe in such. If that is true, I understand your responses, but it doesn't make them right.
I responded to your attacks. That's where it began.

I wasn't going to say anything, but now I must. The ISV does use the word languages. The Complete Jewish Bible uses the word tongues.. It's the translation from Hebrew.
It doesn't really matter because tongues is languages. Not babble. I speak words. And they aren't English. I didn't study any language but I look at the Hebrew and greek now. But, spoke in tongues before I studied.

the truth is you are not Australian MATE but I could actually use expressions where I am from with a valid license to do so because that is who I am and where I am from, including 2 other languages neither of which are English, but I am talking to an American...you

well how would you know? I don't recall ever praying to you one time and yet I can list some pretty praise to God worthy things in my life that have come out of praying in tongues. and some falling under supernatural

No not at all I could be wrong, that is something you would never say because you are a prideful arrogant person. In addition, I do not need your deflecting of my post, which you did not go through; it would be nice if you had more integrity. That being said the reason why I left out the Mormons is because none of them men I posted were Mormons. Now you know even more then you did a minute ago. The word of God is the Authority unless you disagree then clearly you are... not. The idea that my claims cannot be confirmed? Excuse me they are not my claims, but the Historical documentation and what we have from those who are well established in the context of Christian history., ar you suggestin the men I posted do not exsist? then you sir, have bigger issues then I can help you with.

No I have not used any abbreviations of you can respond as you did do yet you choose to mock my nick name that was your response what was your meaning ? Blessed assurance ? nothing i sais was heated it was in response to scoffing , mocking , and arrogance. each of my responses were after those who did the above I stated. yes i do speak in tongues. I never said I get hot when other don't beleive in such. that is abold face lie. Again I stand by the word of God that the gifts of the Holy Spirit are for today and have not ceased. I stand by the truth the term cessionist’ & cessionsim is not found in the word of God. BUT the gifts of the Holy Spirit are. 1cor 12 to 14 speaks and teaches on them.
Yeah it was nuts.....people running across the stage to be bowled over by a jacket swing.....97% of it is nothing but flesh........the funny thing...Jesus sat the people down and in decent order taught the word of God, he did not back flip down the isle uttering some mumbo jumbo.....I worked with one once that sat at a break table and said, " We got so besides ourselves yesterday that we forgot to preach the word." I said, " Well, you did not worship God then." He got all puffed up as they all do and proceeded to mouth and I said listen pal....The worship of God is in spirit and IN TRUTH....If you did not PREACH the word you did not worship God........
