D...,
As a Jew are you here in the process of becoming Christian....other than just for information?
As I said I am a blood Jew, but I was raised in the Christian faith. My maternal grandmother was Christian even though her father was Jewish. I guess that makes her a Messianic Jew.

I think it would make her Christian if not mistaken as Judaism is passed matrilineally.

Look mates, I know the big man has probably got a reason to put these drips out here. Punching their clackers and whatnot. But what are you gonna do with em ya know? Send them to some government run brainwashing camps to zap the fruit out of em?

That's a rather rude way to refer to God, and gay people.. :/

People that believe the bible are hanging onto the moral standards. The world is trying to remove God from schools and everything else, and the individual choice to believe it is wrong to be gay is being removed. I don't think the Christians are hating guy's as much as it seems they are just firmly holding their standards high.

Genesis tells us there is no such thing, "Male and female he created them", gender confusion is an attack by the adversary on G-d's created order.

There is something I don't understand: Many or most Christians pick on or outright hate gay people. I realize that homosexuality is a sin however the verses they usually recite also include adultery, fornication, idolatry, drunkenness, and liars. So why single out gays?

Also: Predestination, many anti-gays believe in predestination so if people are predestined to be gay why pick on them more than them more than the others? Does the Lords prayer not say "Forgive us our sins as we forgive those who have sinned against us..."

Who among us was born without original sin? thththat's all folks
We do not have a political group that is trying to push other sins as being normal. But, the Gay lobby is trying to push their nonsense down our throats, including teaching their views in Schools here in the US unopposed. When people quote those verses they are not Judging a person, simply warning everyone of the sins we all are vulnerable to doing from the flesh.

The fact is our sin nature is against God. And, we need to be on guard not to feed it. It is not the orientation that is sin, but the behavior. Jesus understood orientation because he taught us not to look unto a woman with lust in our heart.
Jesus had to speak to the culture as it existed then. If Jesus were to say the same text today, I am guessing it would say not to look unto any person with lust in your heart.

They would be better quoting the this text instead,

Deuteronomy 10:12 And now, Israel, what doth the Lord thy God require of thee, but to fear the Lord thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the Lord thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul,

Micah 6:8 He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?

Personally, I do not think science is clear enough to prove orientation at this time. But, it is possible that it exists in some form. Just, as there are desires towards other sin behaviors.

It is the gay proponents who do not like what the scriptures say who are calling it judging them. One can recognize something is a sin without judging.

I dont think christians pick on gay people Ive not seen it. Bashing? Ive actually never seen it. Perhaps bashing at the hands of other people i.e police, thugs, but not christians.

I do know many make a stand for righteousness. Which is different.

When God told Abraham that he was going to destroy .sodom and Gomorrah because he heard their cries Abraham actually pleaded mercy esp for his nephew Lot, livng there at the time, and anyone else who might have been righteous.

Sodom and Gomorrahs sin, was not primarily homosexuality although it did manifest itself, it was the 'gay mecca' of the time, but also included all the other sins adultery, fornication, idolatry, drunkenness and lying. The whole umbrella of sin coming under one word - Pride.

Jesus pronounced woe on towns that were just like Sodom and gomorrah...he wasnt 'bashing them' he was just saying their unrighteousness would prevent them from entering the Kingdom of Heaven. Which is the truth, I would not say its bashing.

I guess because I'm 'A' political I get offended by people that single out homos' but support a well known whoremonger, that was fined $10 million for money laundering at the "Taj Mahal Casino" and declared bankruptcy, got away with it, and became our leader.

I also get offended by using tax payer money to sponsor gay parades in our streets. Most sins being equal except Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit and intentionally corrupting children, how can we as Christians be more offended by queers than we are at most other sins. Is it because all of us are sinners but most of us aren't gay?

What is offensive is not what they do privately, but what they promote publicly and how it affects our children (whom they wish to recruit into their perverse lifestyles). There is no question that while homosexuals are a tiny minority in any population, they use wealth and influence to try and change the perception of the world as to what they really are. The fact that you called them *gays* (as do most people) is the misuse of a word which means happy.

I dont know you will have to ask those people that offend you, because as far as I know most christians wouldnt support a whoremonger either. Many people maybe just dont have discernment only of the sins they arent familiar with.

Eg perhaps lots of people havent outright murdered anyone, and so they feel they can judge people and point the finger at those who have. But then you get people who perhaps have murdered someone but havent been convicted of it, eg they got away with it, like people that practice abortions. And people say its ok or cos its legal. But they still had a hand in killing someone. Its just not obvious. Because the child hadnt been born.

In some certain churches, things like that are swept under the rug. For example, paedophiles in youth groups. Thats a terrible thing and nobody exposes that because its hidden by the very people that perpetuate it i.e the youth group leaders. Theres many young couples that had abortions before they married. Why did they well they wanted to hide their fornication.

The thing is God knows all about that too. Nothing is hid from Him.

Being that there will be no giving or taking of marriage in glory just like there will be no sickness or disease and I se being gay as similar to some kinds of birth defects. Can't the blood of the lamb wash gayness away?

Yes our sexual urges will probably be no more. They will die with these carcasses we call bodies and when we are resurrected we will be without the sinful nature and we will be better than we are now.

Fornication and adultery have been normalized for quite a few years now. The outrage is mostly gone. Homosexuality will be that way within 10 years or so... the outrage will be gone, and most people will just go... meh....
How can one say sin is normalized? God has not changed His mind on it. Also why do self-professing Christians justify one sin by pointing at another sin? I think there are a few reasons why ones does this.

  1. They have family members who are gay
  2. they struggle with homosexuality
  3. have been taught homosexuality is love
  4. they think it is a judgment to say homosexuality is a sin.

I can't agree with your assessment because it's purely subjective. Perhaps the media has caused many to think that many or most Christians hate sodomites. This would be the stereotype they would purport. We shouldn't buy in and go with it as the media will only show the alleged ugly side of Christianity.

Paul showed us that the Gospel reaches all the elect, even those who were formerly sodomites as per 1 Corinthians 6:9-11. Other sins are mentioned there as well. All of us are saved from some sort of sinfulness.

God does hate the wicked, this is a fact. He has instructed us to preach the gospel and love others, and treat those on the outside with gentleness.

But let's put it in perspective: The mere fact that we disagree with the sinful practice of sodomy, something deemed shameful by God himself (we must remember this, note the oft maligned Romans 1) we will be called hateful, no matter how we disagree with it.

Calibob, as you stated it to being a weak area, please work a little on your theology of predestination.

Being born gay is what many think is the case. Were that really the case then persecuting them would be wrong. Quite the contrary, our sexuality is a learned trait.

I agree with this definition: Gender dysphoria occurs when there is a persistent sense of mismatch between one’s experienced gender and assigned gender. Children get confused enough without telling them God made a mistake in their case.

For the agenda is not just about equal opportunity for homosexual couples in a relationship, but to radically change Western society for the worse. From promoting transgender and homosexual choices in kindergartens to confusing children in schools through the same sexual politics of gender fluidity and encouraging homosexual emotions and sex. When they are out of the closet, they are recruiting.

2 Corinthians 11:14
: “And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.”

1 Corinthians 6:11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.
