^ EDIT to add to my last post: "Sin" is used 40x between Romans 5:12 and 8:3

^ Additionally, Romans 1 - 5:11 is about "sinS" whereas Romans 5:12 - chpt 8[end] is about "Sin"

[ "sinS" = forgiven; … but "Sin" is never "forgiven," only "condemned" ]
This is the covenant I will make with them
after that time, says the Lord.
I will put my laws in their hearts,
and I will write them on their minds.
’[b]

17 Then he adds:

Their sins and lawless acts
I will remember no more.
’ Heb10:`15-17

The above is the core foundation upon which the Christian faith stands. It is a pity more do not accept it, or contemplate on it

I have nothing to be puffed up about, what do any of us know that God does not show us?
I know how hard this is for you, but when I asked you if Christians are conscious of sin if they committed adultery, murdered, or coveted, you replied yes. Incidentally, all Christians know the answer is yes, but many appear not to realise what that entails
Its not hard for me, it is hard for you

You THINK it is because of the law of MOSES (namely ten commands)

I THINK it is because of the law of love and where we need to be seeking (things of the spirit) (and you have failed to get me to change my thinking.)

But you can not hear or see what i believe because you think your right. So be it.

4so that the righteousness OF the Law should be fulfilled IN us [note: not BY us] not walking according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.
Thank you you just proved me right, we do not fulfill th law by obeying the law in the flesh, we fulfill the law by walking according to the spirit, (also called the law of love, or seeking after the things of the spirit) which i have been saying over and over,

But hey, you want to follow the law, good luck, me i will focus on the spirit.

The main problems with websites like these is, most want to come to teach others, therefore admitting to error is impossible.
So what are you saying now, only the law of love is written in the mind and placed on the heart of believers?
Through the law we become conscious of sin Rom3:20

So if only the law of love is written in the mind and placed on the heart:
If a believer stole something, they could only be conscious they sinned by failing to love as they should, not because they committed theft
If a believer committed adultery, they could only be conscious they sinned concerning not loving as they should, not because they committed the act of adultery.
If a be;iever took the Lords name in vain, they could only be conscioius they sinned by fai;ling to love as they should, not because they took the Lords name in vain.

See, we all know in the reality of our lives that we are conscious of sin because of whjat we specifically do as mentioned, not because we fail to love as we should. But you carry on, don't let me stop you

is that why your not seeing what i am saying?

So what are you saying now, only the law of love is written in the mind and placed on the heart of believers?
That was christs example was it not?

Through the law we become conscious of sin Rom3:20
Became past tense, it is what led us to christ, but after christ, we are no longer under a tutor, if we still need the law to show us sin, we not only are in deep trouble, but will be lacking the knowlesge of what al types of sins are,

i know. Thats a forign concept to you.

So if only the law of love is written in the mind and placed on the heart:
We love BECAUSE he first loved us, thats why a child of God can not ain, where as before, all a person could do was sin.

Again, i understand that is hard to understand

If a believer stole something, they could only be conscious they sinned by failing to love as they should, not because they committed theft
If a believer committed adultery, they could only be conscious they sinned concerning not loving as they should, not because they committed the act of adultery.
If a be;iever took the Lords name in vain, they could only be conscioius they sinned by fai;ling to love as they should, not because they took the Lords name in vain.

. Your trying to convince yourself, not me,, if i look to the law and never sleep with another woman, i am seen by the law as rghteous, yet if i fail to love my wife and lust after another woman, as Jesus said, i have sinned. What sin i commited does not matter, what matters is i have sinned, because i failed to love.

Thats why the law is faulty, it can not make you righteous, that was not its purpose.

Through the law we become conscious of sin is not past tense, my oh my oh my.

Sin is(not was) the transgression of the law 1John3:4

This is ridiculous, you are conscious of sin through the law, for once you know the law you see your shortfall of obedience to it and your shortfall of obedience is your sin

So you are just figuring out what sin is?

I found out along time ago, thats why i repented.

One minugte eternally grateful staters if you commit murder, adultery, or covet you are conscious of sin because you do so, then he changes it(as I knewsolely by failing to love as they should he would) to the law of love in your heart and mind. All believers are conscious of sin concerning what they specifically sin concerning, not by failing to love as they should.

Which part of the body is it that makes a mockery of Christianity and goes back to working at their favorite parts of Judaism?

Well? The part of the body that fights the good fight! And, not just for self, contrary to what people may think. Having been "born from above", some 30+ years ago. After going through an "experience", that I can only describe as the Spirit of God (not to be confused with the gift of the Holy spirit either) coming into me, and informing me, to "get USED to it!" "Cuz, I ain't goin' nowheres!" In just those words too! Although, the Holy Spirit is with Him, this is more the "giver" of the gift of the Holy Spirit!
Unseen, but Grabbing me by the short hairs on the back of my neck, saying: "I see you've been trying "your" way!" "Now?!" "I'm going to show you "MY" way!" To which I hollered: "You're going to have to drag me kicking and fighting and scratching every inch of the way!" To which? He grinned, smiled and said: "GOOD!" "That's the way I likes 'em!" And? "I wouldn't want ya "any" other way!" Tis funny actually, how He used english, and in the same "style" of speaking I myself used. Said He didn't wanna scare me dead!

I have heard more then several "testimonies." But, have never heard one even close to mine.
Afterwards, I was "convicted" by the Holy Spirit several times. But, it wasn't like that first "event!"
There are things He told me, about things to come, but, the time isn't right yet. :censored: Elstwise, I would have said them already.
These posts I write, are just "testimonies" of this Spiritual journey I'm on.
It's like having Jesus and the Father inside my spirit, and heart, and soul, and mind, and, this "sack of sinful flesh." Dunno how to describe it any other way!
I mean, it's GREAT having Jesus in you. Tis much GREATER, having Jesus AND the God AND Father inside ya!
Which is why, when I see people posting about "OH!" "I've got it made!" "I've accepted Jesus, and I'm going to heaven!" I try telling them: "But, there's So MUCH MORE, you could have!" Right HERE! BEFORE you become plant food!

This is the SAME message Jesus strived in teaching the Jews. But, the Jews didn't want anything to do with it! As they "BELIEVED", they ALREADY "had it!"

And, this is the same reaction/s I get when telling people in here!

Being a priest of Jesus Christ, is like being pulled around in a wagon bound for heaven!
Being a priest of God? Is pulling yer OWN wagon!
"But, that's "works = salvation" doctrine!" Or, so I've been told! Personally? I don't believe a word of it. Because, that's not what He's telling me.

So, Grandpa? I dunno what part of the "body" I am! I just know that I am! Somewheres, around the neck? I dunno!

Sin is(not was) the transgression of the law. So we are(now) conscious of sin through the law
Its OK, you carry on telling me how you know far more than me a long time ago

Like I said, you are so childish, and all you care about is trying to impress others with what you think you know. That is not mature Christianity by a long way

Yes, the core of the failed church is that they can take their sins to Christ and without repentance they will be forgiven, they need not accept Christ into their hearts and minds enough to affect their actions. Christian honesty and love cannot be depended on. To a Christian in today's church their lifestyle does not reflect God.
