hello....i am new here.
first i want to mention that have EXTREME difficulty with finding people who want to discuss this with me
and even fewer that can understand a different perspective.
so before i begin i want to mention
I have read and re read the bible 12 times working on 13...I have read nearly all of the lost books too...including Jasher, Enoch, Adam, and many others.
I have read Sumerian works like the Atra Hasis and Enuma Elish.

I have had many strange encounters....but I am hesitant to go any further for fear of offending anyone.

If you would like to hear my story and discuss some alternative viewpoints please respond.

Just wanted to welcome you to CC! I think it's beautiful you have read the Bible all the way through. I have done once, probably should do it again someday :) As far as hearing your story, I'm sure a lot of us here would be interested in reading it.

Welcome aboard IMB..

I believe the 66 books of the Bible are inspired and dependable..

I do not believe the other books you list are without error and thus not totally dependable..

But i am always open to discuss different views if only to give my views on the views put forward..

It really depends on the owner and the moderators of this site as to how far off the Christian track they are prepared to allow things to go as far as topics are concerned..

A warm welcome to CC and glad to meet you! Since you've read the Bible so many times, a q?' would b 'do you think you got anything really beneficial from reading the apocrypha books and if so, what?'. Perhaps you can deliberate on another forum when you get a chance. God bless.

i like it when science, the bible, and other ancient texts all line up and say the same thing
and surprisingly it does in many areas

Before i get into it i just want to re iterate that I intend NO OFFENSE to anyone. i just have a slight different viewpoint and perspective regarding some details. My views do NOT change the overall outlook of message in the bible at all.....it simply explains a few things a bit differently. The problem I have had is the reluctance of ANYONE wanting to even discuss it with me.
I feel totally and utterly alone.
see my family is all Jehovahs Witnesses and they havent spoken to me in 17 years.
so I dont have many people to talk to

Welcome to CC, IMB!

As long as you are merely presenting and discussing ideas, and not actively promoting anti-Christian or heretical viewpoints, you should be fine. Start a thread on a specific topic either in the Miscellaneous or Bible Study forum. Fair warning though: if you advocate a position outside of traditional Christianity, you can expect vigorous resistance, so go cautiously. :)

ok im just gonna dive right in then Ill start with a scripture ......and build a little from there.....this is 2 angels eating food with LOT before telling him to flee sodom
Genesis 19:3
And he pressed upon them greatly; and they turned in unto him, and entered into his house; and he made them a feast, and did bake unleavened bread, and theydid eat.

now not only does this mean they ate food.....that means they were physical in nature. ( i will expand momentarily)
they must have had mouths...stomachs...intestines......and NO WHERE in that story does it mention them changing form like from physical to spirit or vice versa ....which led me to something else.
why unleavened bread? bread WITHOUT yeast?

Well the Bible speaks of extreme things, a entire universe and everything in it, 6 days.
why you think yours would be any different?

Yeast. It's a good thing. It makes bread rise, turns grape juice into wine, and is essential in the production of beer. And in our bodies, yeast -- specifically the yeast Candida albicans -- helps us maintain a healthy personal ecosystem. However, when our immune systems are stressed, Candida albicans can grow out of control. When that happens, the yeast becomes so plentiful that infections can result in the mouth, throat, intestines, and genitourinary tract.

yeast grows uncontrollably in space....leads to yeast infections of the mouth stomach and intestines
