It’s been getting down to the mid 20s the last few days but warming up to the 50s. It’s like the weather is unsure if it should be spring or winter. We had some snow earlier in the week, but none of it stuck.

Here in Colorado, pretty much everything was shut down (it takes a lot to do that here) even the airport cancelled almost everything. My internet was out the whole day, but luckily we kept power. There is a 5 foot drifts of snow just outside the front door and my car is buried.
I know north of Palmer Divide got it worse than Colorado Springs, but it was nasty down here too. Yesterday El Paso County fielded close to 1,500 calls for stranded motorists. Colorado Springs Airport was closed to air traffic and opened to the public as a shelter for those who couldn't get home.

This was the driveway to a friend's landscaping business. The drift was chest high for about 200 ft.

I've been trapped in bad weather since November, its just been relentless.. People here (Illinois) are wearing shirts that say; "I survived the Winter of 19". Record snowfall & record cold, those aren't records I want to set. Its enough already, even my cats have cabin fever. I'd like to set a record like; "72 degrees today, a record high for this day in March"

I truly miss those days. I grew up in Colorado. October kicked off winter. 28 to 36 inches of snow!!! Loved it! Does'nt happen anymore.. The world is changing...

This kind of makes me nostalgic for living in Utah. I was a kid when we last had snow like that living there, though. We got to tunnel out the snow and play while the neighbors dig out my my mom’s car so she could go to work.

I would probably just work from home for a bit if we had anything like that here. 😛

I was not stuck but we got about a foot of snow. About 2 hours into the blizzard I took off to a hotel near work to stay for a couple nights so I can at least walk to work if I need to. Took me 2.5 hours to get there and usually it takes only 40 min. Made it safe and best thing was I got paid to sleep and didn’t have to shovel snow *happy dance*, my roommate however did! I’m from north Denver.

Everybody else is having fun with snow. We're just waterlogged.

Oh well. Time to get the canoe out and paddle to w*rk.

Well at least drop a line in the water that way you can call it trolling rather than paddling to work.
