Dear forum please listen, "YourTruthGod" is trying to mislead the friends of decon by saying that; decon has had a "special revelation" when he was a young child but that is nothing but a "bold face lie" and a misrepresentation of what actually happened when decon was a young child. The fact is "Decontroversal" our beloved friend "never, never, never, had a special revelation." The reason is "YourTruthGod" is trying to deflect the fact that in his post below he claims that he does receive revelations from God.

The fact remains; Decontroversal has never received special revelation from God however YourTruthGod has received special revelation from God but he is trying to deny the fact of this truth.
No worries TT..

I am finished speaking to you. You are a "Charlatan", a person falsely claiming to have a "special knowledge" or skill; a fraud. No one cares or trusts anything you have to say.
I can personally attest that I quit caring about a week or so ago, when he said " it is sometimes a sin to not get married "....

I'm totally on your side UG as long as the OP does not object to VCO posting his essay on "The Dangers of Speaking in Tongues" or the subject doesn't get out of hand. I say "make us teachable students of God's word and go for it if the Lord wills....:)
I object TT. This will do nothing but bring discord to this thread. That's what happens in most forums when Holy Spirits gifts and the miraculous is discussed.

I'm still here, and you all know that I'm Pentecostal. I dont reject you all for not being like me. So why do this for I view it as a slap in my face.

And am offended.

On a forum where people can start threads by themselves and those who want to discuss it,
discuss it, is there a reason why doing it in a different thread on a different topic make sense?
Or is it because the interest is not quite there?

Hi Stonesoffire, my apologies and I stand corrected. Yes I do know you are Pentecostal and believe in the continuation of gifts. First and foremost I would not intentionally put a stumbling block between the Rock Solid relationship you and I have had, of course Rock Solid meaning our Faith in Jesus is the Rock that we both stand upon.

Please excuse my shortsightedness, in Christ.

Thank you E-g, my apologies, this was a very bad idea agreed, I honestly did not see the bad feelings that it would cause.

Please excuse my lack of empathy, in Christ

The little children whom God has revealed himself to through the spoken and written words of God are those who HUMBLY ACCEPT THE WORD PLANTED IN THEM, WHICH CAN SAVE THEM.(see James 1:19-27)

....Now to him who is able to establish you by my gospel and the proclamation of Jesus Christ, according to the REVELATION of the mystery hidden for long ages past, but now REVEALED and MADE KNOWN through the PROPHETIC WRITINGS by the command of the eternal God, so that ALL NATIONS MIGHT BELIEVE and OBEY HIM— to the only wise God be glory forever through Jesus Christ! Amen. Romans 16:25-27

No question about God revealing His TRUTH to any man humbly accepting His word like little children, but not to literal 3 1/2 years old kids who doesn't have spiritual discernment yet.

I have not read what revelation from God that you have received but i do believe that you have all the right to receive or claim it, and do not be provoked to sin by these people's wicked schemings who nullify God's word and those who "CALL EVIL GOOD and GOOD EVIL".

...Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of such things GOD'S WRATH COMES ON THOSE WHO ARE DISOBEDIENT. Therefore do not be partners with them. Ephesians 5:6-7

...LET GOD BE TRUE...

God bless.

Some things God necessarily kept "hidden in God" [/secret] until after Jesus' crucifixion / the Cross.

[ "7 But we speak in a mystery, the wisdom of God having been hidden, which God foreordained before the ages for our glory, 8 which none of the rulers of this age has understood. For if they had understood it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory." ]

Luke 18 -

19 And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? none is good, save one, that is, God." [note: to be clear, for the readers of this thread, in this context this is Jesus making the point that He Himself is God]
[...<snip>...]
31 Then he took unto him the twelve, and said unto them, Behold, we go up to Jerusalem, and all things that are written by the prophets concerning the Son of man shall be accomplished.
32 For he shall be delivered unto the Gentiles, and shall be mocked, and spitefully entreated, and spitted on:
33 And they shall scourge him, and put him to death: and the third day he shall rise again.
34 And they understood none of these things: and this saying was hid from them, neither knew they the things which were spoken.
35 And it came to pass, that as he was come nigh unto Jericho, a certain blind man sat by the way side begging:
36 And hearing the multitude pass by, he asked what it meant.
37 And they told him, that Jesus of Nazareth passeth by.
38 And he cried, saying, Jesus, thou son of David, have mercy on me.
39 And they which went before rebuked him, that he should hold his peace: but he cried so much the more, Thou son of David, have mercy on me.
40 And Jesus stood, and commanded him to be brought unto him: and when he was come near, he asked him,
41 Saying, What wilt thou that I shall do unto thee? And he said, Lord, that I may receive my sight.
42 And Jesus said unto him, Receive thy sight: thy faith hath saved thee.
43 And immediately he received his sight, and followed him, glorifying God: and all the people, when they saw it, gave praise unto God.
Hi Divine,

I was wondering whether I got the point you were making.
We are redeemed sinners, saints, who walk with our Lord.
Paul calls us to continually rejoice.

Is the idea of us continually rejoicing wrong?
I know we can be downcast and seeing life is hard, and others
seem to get on well and that makes us feel bad, but I am wondering
are you falling into the attitude of projecting on to others that which
is not there, and not trusting our King who works in all our hearts
to bring us to His throne?
God bless you

Bad will

Is it possible the poison of judgementalism can destroy peoples fellowship and love in Christ?
I go to church with many people in Christ, I do not know their theology yet I will sing praises
to my King, knowing in His hands we have reconciliation.

But here, on the forums, it seems the idea we can disagree about points and emphasis which
gives the right of some to defame every expression of individuals. This is very odd.
It is odd because it denies one of the core components of walking with Jesus, acceptance and
love despite disagreements.

False accusations. Some can become so convinced they know another is one thing and not another
they will pursue them like a blood hound after a prey. They then create labels and continually bombard
them with these things as if this has meaning. It creates an environment that does not display Jesus
or the people of God. It does display the world and its ways of behaving.

So I wonder who in their hearts cares? Who in their hearts desires to honour their Lord and walk
His path? This is rhetorical, but also I wonder where people live.
God bless you

Hi Hevosmies, I pray you can resolve some of the spiritual issues you talked about on the "Speaking in Tongues" thread. I know you will be missed here by many.

Vaya con Dios,

I Posted my Essay on A NON-CHARISMATIC UNDERSTANDING OF TONGUES , on a separate Thread, and had to split it up into 9 Segments. I found out their built in Character Counter IS NOT ACCURATE, as I had to keep it under 7500, instead of 10000. So I edit it under 6900 for the most part. I originally did this study on pen and paper after for my paper for my sister-inlaws, LONG BEFORE I GOD my first Computer. They were hard core Charismatics, and of course they Rejected it. After I got a computer, I updated it a couple times, and have kept it in my Computer. If you are a Non-Charismatic Believer, I think you will enjoy the read.

Hi Stones, same goes for me, I have dear family members who are Pentecostal and we have over the years worship together.

God bless you in Christ.

1 Corinthians 12:13
For we were all baptized by one Spirit so as to form one body--whether Jews or Gentiles, slave or free--and we were all given the one Spirit to drink

BIG OOPS, and sorry Lord. The Sentence that I typed before Church, I originally did this study on pen and paper after for my paper for my sister-inlaws, LONG BEFORE I GOD my first Computer, should read:

I originally did this study on pen and paper, after I had thoroughly studied the subject, taking NUMEROUS NOTES, for nearly 6 months; as requested by my Charismatic Sister-inlaws, Long before I got my first Computer.

Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy has he saved us...

One cannot do works more righteous than righteous.....and notice...it is according to his mercy that he has SAVED US

mercy->>>not deserved or earned by the righteous works which we have done

For since in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not come to know God, God was well-pleased through the foolishness of the message preached to save those who believe.
