Oh and about the squirrels, sure. I miss seeing them jump from tree to tree.

the fruit on the ground is definitely 'volunteers', as 7's husband has said -
very common - just go to your local AG. Center, and they will identify
them for you...

The saga of Baby continues. We found him on a farm at the end of our road. He looks like a small cow when eating at the corn crib with the beef cows. And he's homesick. I called him from the fence and he came right over to me. Last evening I took some mini pig food to him. Corn isn't enough.

The neighboring farms complained about him rooting. Was afraid that he would dig up their septic. Crazy. They root for roots, hence the name, and they can damage lawns. He was on our property which is 10 acres for him to roam.

But, momma is here yet with her piglets. She's skittish so I haven't been able yet to get good pics. Will keep trying.

By the way...Baby is digging his way out. Shhhhush...they don't know. 😎

*totally love to see fireflies*

dig up their septic system? yeah that's crazy for sure

you go Baby! :giggle: glad momma showed up

Yes! I know for certain!!
Stop thinking about things growing in the cow pasture and drag your eyes to Jesus Christ!
Let the melons rot.
Children are starving. Peter and Paul agreed they should "keep mindful of the poor"!
Think of Jesus suffering on the cross. Picture it! Him bleeding on that cross for our sakes!
Think of his compassion.
Think of his mercy - you remember the woman caught in adultery in John 8! - "neither do I condemn you"
Think of His words!
Think of how overwhelmingly beautiful He was!
And FOCUS!!! (and forget about the melons!)
:)
Rather than letting the melons rot on the vine they could be used to feed the hungry.

I may not have any wild pig pets. The food in the pen hasn't been touched. Am a bit sad and just a tad, relieved.

But seven! I got my Kia Sorento yesterday! Silver, black interior with backup, navigation, and a panoramic sunroof. Was my dream vehicle, and I prayed a long time. 2011.

I saw some little melons at Walmart this morning and now I am thinking of getting one next time I'm there.
I just had a sandwich so I'll wait before I fry melons. Want me to share? You still in Florida? 😀

oh I'm truly glad for you! I had a Sportage for some years and really liked it...would still have it only the bottom rotted out :( with the winters up north and I had brought it up from FL. I should have had that winter undercoating stuff put on it

your dream vehicle....well, sounds like your prayers were answered with a big resounding YES!

sorry about the pig though...and I get the relieved. I've taken on 'animal projects' at times and it gets a bit much...but once you start....

try the panoramic sunroof at night for stars...:giggle:

Thanks seven. God is better to us than what we deserve. I was driving a 95 Ford escort and was thankful to have it. This is a huge blessing.

These kind can be fried like fried green tomatoes according to the 'net. But, too many opinions on are they safe to eat. Am not Paul. 🙂

Bananas or plantains? I like the latter.
Bananas. We were bbqing and they put bananas on the grill.. they said its nice.
I like fried apple in butter and brown sugar. I usually use that for apple pies

We have this squirrel that keeps coming back and goes back and forth on our screened Florida room clinging to the screen. Our cats Tango and Sugar watch in fascination. When I lived in Apopka outside of Orlando I took care of a little squirrel that got hurt in a dog attack. Had the little guy about a month before he was well enough to set free. He liked to jump from palm tree to palm tree. The day after he was set free I found him floating dead in my swimming pool. Apparently he missed the tree, fell in the pool and drowned.
