He Enables Me To Tread On The Heights,
Habakkuk is in deep prayer and poetically describes
what he experiences. After much time arguing with
God, he finally starts to surrender to Him. And it is a
process for most of us I believe. I believe we struggle
with some things and even argue with God sometimes
but God always wins out in the end but in a loving way.
God is not arguing, He is listening; it is we who are the
ones that because of our sometimes stubbornness are
trying to impose our will over His. After a lot of time,
we discover that God was right all along. That becomes
our breaking point, the time when we say, here I am
Lord; do with me as you will. That part is never easy
but it is always fruitful in our lives.
