Rabbi Naphtali “Tuly” Weisz has founded Israel365 as purpose to connect Christians with the Land and the People of Israel. Tuly is also the editor of The Israel Bible and publisher of Breaking Israel News. Rabbi Tuly has said that he loves and appreciate to discuss with people. Therefore, I send my question to him openly and publicly. My question is very important concerning the location of Jerusalem's temple.

My question: http://www.kotipetripaavola.com/myquestiontorabbituly.html

No temple is going to be built in Jerusalem, at the proper place in Jerusalem or any place else! Here is why! It is not needed. The need for a temple is finished!

"1 For since the law has but a shadow of the good things to come instead of the true form of these realities, it can never, by the same sacrifices that are continually offered every year, make perfect those who draw near. 2 Otherwise, would they not have ceased to be offered, since the worshipers, having once been cleansed, would no longer have any consciousness of sins? 3 But in these sacrifices there is a reminder of sins every year. 4 For it is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins.

5 Consequently, when Christ came into the world, he said,

“Sacrifices and offerings you have not desired,
but a body have you prepared for me;
6 in burnt offerings and sin offerings
you have taken no pleasure.
7 Then I said, ‘Behold, I have come to do your will, O God,
as it is written of me in the scroll of the book.’”

8 When he said above, “You have neither desired nor taken pleasure in sacrifices and offerings and burnt offerings and sin offerings” (these are offered according to the law), 9 then he added, “Behold, I have come to do your will.” He does away with the first in order to establish the second. 10 And by that will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

11 And every priest stands daily at his service, offering repeatedly the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins. 12 But when Christ had offered for all time a single sacrifice for sins, he sat down at the right hand of God, 13 waiting from that time until his enemies should be made a footstool for his feet. 14 For by a single offering he has perfected for all time those who are being sanctified.

15 And the Holy Spirit also bears witness to us; for after saying,

16 “This is the covenant that I will make with them
after those days, declares the Lord:
I will put my laws on their hearts,
and write them on their minds,”
17 then he adds,

“I will remember their sins and their lawless deeds no more.”
18 Where there is forgiveness of these, there is no longer any offering for sin.

The Full Assurance of Faith
19 Therefore, brothers, since we have confidence to enter the holy places by the blood of Jesus, 20 by the new and living way that he opened for us through the curtain, that is, through his flesh, 21 and since we have a great priest over the house of God, 22 let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, with our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. 23 Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful. 24 And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, 25 not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near." Hebrews 10:1-25

Context matters. Read the whole thing! For that matter, read all of Hebrews! It was written to the Jews, to explain why we do not need a temple, ever! A temple would be blasphemy according to Hebrews!

From Matthew 24:3 throughout the rest of the chapter, Jesus sat on the Mount of Olives overlooking the Second Temple, while He prophesied of events that would occur near the time of His Second Coming.

In Matthew 24:15, Jesus described an event known as the Abomination of Desolation. The Abomination of Desolation is when the Antichrist stands in the temple claiming to be God. Jesus told His disciples that the Abomination of Desolation would transpire in the “holy place”.

Matthew 24:15, “When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand)…”

The disciples knew Jesus was talking about a future event that would take place in a future temple because (1) He had just told them that the current temple was going to be destroyed (2) His prophecy of the Abomination of Desolation was foretold to occur at the end of the age, not during their era.

In II Thessalonians 2, Paul describes the Abomination of Desolation, but states that the Antichrist will actually sit in the “Temple of God”.

II Thessalonians 2:3-4, “Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.”

Both Jesus and the Apostle Paul prophesied that the Abomination of Desolation would occur in a future Jewish Temple near the time of Jesus’ Second Coming.

In Revelation 11:1-2, John was given a snapshot of the status of the Temple Mount during the final three and one half years immediately preceding the Second Coming of Jesus and the Battle of Armageddon.

Revelation 11:1-2, “And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein. But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.”

Come on Angela get real.

Third Temple
The Bible prophesies, in many places, that a Third Temple will be built in the near future. In Matthew 24:1-2, Jesus tells His disciples that the Second Temple would be utterly destroyed.

John was told to measure the Jewish Temple, but not to measure the outer court of the temple because it would be under Gentile control. This shows us the Temple Mount will be under an internationally supervised sharing arrangement during the final forty-two months immediately preceding the Second Coming. This sharing arrangement will allow the Jews to build their Third Temple without having to tear down the Dome of the Rock and the Al Aksa Mosque.

Revelation tells us plainly that there will be a temple and altar standing by the time the Great Tribulation starts. However, it will be overrun by the nations (led by the Antichrist). If you want to know what they do with the Holy Temple, Paul gives us the most clear indication of a future Tribulation Temple:
2 Thessalonians 2:4 (ESV) — who opposes and exalts himself against every so-called god or object of worship, so that he [The Antichrist] takes his seat in the temple of God, proclaiming himself to be God.
The Antichrist will take over the Holy Temple built by the Jews for worship of YHVH God and use it to proclaim to the world that he himself is God.
Some commentators object that the “temple of God” could not refer to a temple built by the Jews under their Judaism and that it better fits the church (“the temple of God” as Paul said). However, although Judaism has its errors and faults, they still do worship YHVH God which is who the Temple would be dedicated to worshiping. It makes the most sense that it's referring to a literal temple with a literal seat in Jerusalem where we know the Antichrist conquers and sets up his headquarters (Dan 11:45=Lk 21:20).

I agree with Angela that we have no need but regardless of our needs scripture states that the temple will be built. Why?? Speculation is that it would be a reminder to the Jews of what and who it alluded to. Not saying I agree but as Jesus gave us the manner of prayer in it he said "thy kingdom come thy will be done on Earth as it is in heaven". Jesus is to be seated in the seat of David.

For those who argue for the so-called Third Temple, when do you believe that Revelation was written?

No need to answer here; just check out the evidence for yourselves, and don't be satisfied with the first one or two items that confirm your belief.

To me it is amazing how many say IT WILL NOT BE BUILT EVER.............when we have Orthodox JEWS, the TEMPLE institute etc.....

a. Training the priesthood to offer sacrifices
b. All the instruments made for sacrifice
c. A red heifer bred for sacrifice
d. All the material prepared to build some sort of temple or tabernacle
e. The PUSH by above said groups to do exactly that

Believers know and understand HEBREWS and NO NEED.....but these PEOPLE that have rejected Christ and are still looking for their political messiah seem dead SET on building it and starting up sacrifices.............

Why is this so hard to accept.........?????

Well I think since Jesus is going to rule on the earth from Jerusalem that He will have a third temple to rule from. Poor old Zechariah seems to believe the same thing and he wrote under Holy Spirit inspiration. Zech 14 tells of a time when all the nations come up to Jerusalem to worship.

For the cause of Christ
