Anybody else enjoy watching thunder storms? When I lived at home (as in when I lived with my parents) we used to sit on the front porch and watch thunderstorms. They are amazing. They are awesome!

Nothing quite like seeing a bolt of lightning and loud crack of thunder right after!

I miss not having front porch anymore. All we have is a deck. Not too conducive to sitting outside during a storm.

Getting a little less in awe of this, having had and still having so many here in the middle part of the country. I saw an article about how late, late, late, it is getting for the planting to be done, we see also the swine flu outbreak in China is now in two provinces and apparently not going to be contained, if it travels here many will be impacted.

Yeah that would put a damper on the whole thing.

Ruby is in Australia. I have some other CC friends who are there as well. ok So I understand that when here in the U.S. it's one season, it is different in other parts of the world, BUT I forget that CC has people from ALL OVER the world and when we're talking "summer plans" and someone says it's winter break I was like
I've always wondered what it's like to have "summer months" with winter weather but more so how about Christmas w/o a winter wonderland? Is that like having "Christmas is July"? (meaning middle of hot weather season?)

No! NO!! NO!!! Please do not listen to shittim on THIS one:
please send winter......
cool it down a little sure, but not winter! not yet!

I love the minions!
Smith Wigglesworth gave a prophecy gave a prophecy that the last, greatest, revival would start and end in Australia, it is mentioned in this series of the Divine Healing training Curry Blake held at Doncaster Church in Australia.
His minstry is the greatest I have been exposed to and I grow from the videos and teaching of John G. Lake Ministry each hour and day.
I believe this last of the last day revival is/has begun.
bless you Ruby and gods girl

Thankyou I will have a look at that video. Godsgirl is right I am in Australia. It is a dry country and also warm (depending on where you live) so the cold and rain is a bit of a shock to the system. Hail is forecasted tomorrow which is as close to snow as we get. God bless you too and Godsgirl.:D

I too, enjoy a good storm. My poor dog however does not share the same appreciation.
She almost has a cardiac arrest at the slightest sound of thunder or lightening. 🙁
So we shut all the windows and turn up the TV/ music.

I tried that. No go. 😕
She has anxiety medicine now. I use it when there's a storm a comin' and when there's a chance of fireworks.

Dogs and cats do not like loud noises. Where I live there are fireworks for many of th efiestas, and my little one used to jump intomy bed and cower, but immediately I had a plan of solace for her, I would hold her, pet her, and say "ggod girl, thank you for protecting the house and me." She would stop whining and seemed to understand what I was saying and since then she no longer goes berserk but she does coe to me. All blessings in Jesus, Yeshua...j
