What happen there is when I first joined there was a thread about candy so I mentioned M & M's in a couple posts. Some member complained to me that it wasn't necessary to mention it more than once. Who knows? Maybe she didn't like M & M's. I created this signature to specifically irk her and it has been my only signature for over 5 years now.

I had two adult stepchildren as a result of my marriage to my late second wife. The daughter treated me with respect but the son totally disrespected me, thought that he was entitled by me to provide food, shelter, transportation and cigarettes.

In the 11 1/2 years of the marriage he probably worked less than a year total and contributed nothing financially. He did absolutely nothing useful around the house but rather trashed my home, did drugs, loud rap music, drunk, and also very belligerent. Mind you, this step-child was in his early 30's. to his antics and police visits I was evicted from my apartment and ended up sleeping on my neighbor's couch for a nominal weekly fee.

Oh yeah, he constantly badgered his mom for her pain and anxiety medications. My late wife spent the last 1 1/2 years of her life in a nursing home while I continued to enable his atrocious behavior and bad attitude.

My late wife died while we were living in Maine so that she could be close to her elderly parents having moved from Florida. The Maine part of our marriage was 8 years in length. When she died he asked me what 'we' are going to do now. I said, "I don't know about you but I'm getting on a bus to Orlando, Florida to be with my family. You don't have your mom anymore to run interference for you so that can be treated as a child. The game is now over". Never looked back.

Nah, she is no longer an active member. By all means break out the bag. I want the red ones, you get the blue ones and we share the other ones.

YEah its crazy, She gets no wolf/dog unless she is nice to her sister for good. YEs they will have fights but she is 14 and acts like her mother which she is not. She is a good kid, but she rebels over jealousy. I see it, but Kristen don;t so i been helping her understnd it. I asked her about her rebellion towards Kristen. Then she let it out about her leaving her behind. I said well, that is it. THAT is why she is rebeling against you because she feels as if she is abandoned. So to fix that u need to show her u have nt and not just say it.

It has been my experience that the relationship between a parent and child, regardless of age can be a complicated process and often frustrating at times. Having step-children can complicate things even further in matters of discipline and training. All relationships carry a certain amount of baggage however and the important things can usually be sorted out through patience, prayer, and perseverance.

I am happy for you that you have found someone to possibly share your life with. I am also sure that there will inevitably be ups and downs but in the end it is well worth the cost of admission.

Yeah, pain medication of choice for loneliness. I get where you're coming from as I have been there too for the longest time. Depression lurks in the shadows in the cage of desolation and despair that we resided in.
