Let Us Be Thankful And Worship God,
We strive to live in peace and Harmony with the world
and mainly with each other. Since we are receiving as
the verse says, it is up to us to share. To be good to
one another and to promote the love and goodwill of our
Lord. We should carry God's word in our hearts and be
constantly praying and meditating that we are ready to
put them into practice. It's like a surgeon in an operating
room, he needs to be well aware of the theory. He knows
where everything is so that he doesn't accidently damage
something while at work. Usually it would be too late when
in the middle of something to go reread the manual. So it
is not just word for word that we know the word but that it is
essential we put it into practice. I don't recall anywhere in
scripture where Jesus pulled out a scroll before He healed
someone or fed someone or any action that He did. He knew
the scriptures in His heart as is evident when the Pharisees
tried to trip Him up. So He digested scripture and made it
simple like the beatitudes and the talk about the fishes and
the loaves. In other words, He took the laws and rather than
using them verbatim, He made them practical and easy to
follow.
