Someone said to me that he was looking forward to viewing and taking in what I have to say. I smiled inside and out too, thinking what a thoughtful and honoring thing to say to someone. I sat and pondered the value it expresses when we take time to know the thoughts of others. I then shifted my thoughts to bigger and better things...the thoughts expressed by our Lord and Saviour. How sweet it is to take His words to heart, to let them meander and settle within the core of our being.

It is so important to take the time to listen; it isn't always easy though, huh? It is a challenge for me sometimes. I am so thankful for the kindness of others. I am even more thankful for the care given from Christ. He is the best listener ever. I think today that I'll put more effort into listening to others and to taking in Him and His word, to the point of elevating my anticipation sensors.

Do you consider yourselves good listeners? If so, you are such a blessing. Thank you.

Yep, listening is indeed very important. A cute saying goes that we have two ears and only one mouth, so we should listen twice as much.
As I mentioned before in other posts, sometimes I find it hard to hear Him through my daily grind, but I still sense He is speaking!!! Thanks for the post, Fellow Traveler!

Indeed we have two eyes to see and two ears to hear. Everyone has a
story, even the dull and unsophisticated, they too have a story to tell.
It is wise to listen without bias or judgement and presupposition.
After hearing what is said we can either believe, not believe or if it
is necessary, use further information. Most of all it's good to peace with
God. In all that we hear it is wise to use discernment in order to live and
understand.
