Are we the chosen ones?

I am new to this and would like to be encouraged on this?

and the question quickly becomes very convicting

How do you know if you're saved?

1 John 5:11 - God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
1 John 5:13 - I write these things to you who believe (keyword: believe) in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life.

If you declare with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9

… for, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." Romans 10:13 and Acts 2:21

^ ^ This is the gospel message in my own words according to my understanding of Scripture.

^ ^ Promises of God.

His sheep will know His Voice.

So you will know you are saved if you know JESUS voice.

This forum is specifically for Introductions, hence the name "Introductions Forum".. The OP's question is a biblical one which will garner much discussion, hence it belongs in the bible forum. Not many people come into the Intro forum, but everyone seems to hang out in the bible forum.. And that forum is where the OP will get more coverage and better answers to their question.
