So what are your all thoughts on watching tv shows that aren’t or not necessarily Christian based? So I know most non Christians think that all Christians do is sit around and watch sermons all day on tv and go to church and stuff
For instance I have been a Law and Order SVU watcher for a few years now

I study 75% of my time with prayer. I do watch Netflix choices and YouTube movies...... I love horror movies( not slashers) like "Halloween" is my very fav horror! Let GOD bring you conviction not man's condemnation!

As long as we do not let the TV control us we should be fine.

I stopped watching movies and/or TV programs long ago that claim to represent the Word beginning with Cecil B. Demiille in the 50's of the last century. I took shows like "Touched y an Angel" as fantasy, and so on.

Sometimes we who believe Jesus, will receive truthful messages from a cookbook if it s God's wil, so as long as we do not put stock for truth in those fantasy movies and shows we arejust fine. Jesus, His Gospel and tthe constant care of the Holy Spirit is our life and Way because of Him, amen.

I think it's fine. I enjoy NCIS, FBI, The Rookie, Alone, New Amsterdam and Bull.
There are some shows I don't watch because they're to graphic.
I also listen to 'non Christian' music now and then.
If you feel convicted though, you might want to stop. The Holy Spirit has convicted me and time or two about my viewing choices. I stopped watching those shows and I didn't miss them. 😀
