Well I guess we follow a different plan of salvation then. And you know jesus can make us good enough because his power sets us free from our sins, so we can be good enough and the seed we get helps us to stop sinning. Gods seed remains in us we cant continue in sin because we are born of God.
Yes I know this teaching well, I hear on the street corners, it is a complete travesty that is all I can say.

And there is only one path of salvation and no we can never be good enough to earn salvation, only Jesus is perfect we cannot even begin to compare to His perfection let alone think we can achieve it.

"Stop sinning" is just another phrase for turning towards the law ... and the law was not able to save.

You might want to take some time to study this subject properly. There is a lot of spiritual confusion out there.
I am sorry but OSAS Eternal security isnt based on the bible as a "Whole" a few scriptures are taken out to make a whole doctrine.

If God is the one 'making us good enough' will He fail to?

How does our patience compare with His?

Romans 3:22 - Even the righteousness of God [which is] by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:
Right! (y)

When I right messages, I dont sound exacly the same as another person on here. Every person thinks exactly the same with no difference. The same verses and the same comments. Group thinking isnt Good. If you be a sheep, you won't be able to think for yourselves:(

A was at the bus stop a few years ago and a women told me "God loves you", then she looked down on a man with missing fingers, who had a drinking problem and gave him evil eyes. Why not tell the drunk man that God Loves him. But no she looked down at him with disgust. Such fake love, only choosing who you will love.

Alot of you people are exacly like this women from OSAS. You look down on others with disgust and I read your comments:(
Ahem,

Your post to EG below

You just pass judgments without actually asking someone what they believe. Quite sad actually.
Ahem

Your post below

Do you people ever stop judging and attacking another's beliefs?
And below

A grace person. Where is the grace involved when we speak:(
So you pass judgement on those who believe in OSAS in your first post and back it up in your second post.

In post 3 you fall foul of your judgement in post 1.

You attack those who believe in OSAS.

So where is the grace you talk about in post 4 when we speak?

What makes you think that the woman was OSAS?

BTW did you take the time to tell the man that God loves him?

If I had seen what you had then I would have done.
And I'm a OSAS believer.

Stopping sinning is a phrase that's referred to going to the law. Where does it say that in the bible? All these strange ideas I keep reading. Where do you get them from?

Once you gain a proper understanding of God's plan of salvation, you will also understand why the GIFT of eternal life is a GIFT and not a reward. So now you owe it to yourself to properly comprehend Romans 8:29,30.

Hebrews 10 -

10 By that will, we are having been sanctified through [/by means of] the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

11 And indeed every priest stands every day, ministering and offering the same sacrifices repeatedly, which never are able to take away sins. 12 But this One, having offered one sacrifice for sins in perpetuity, sat down at the right hand of God, 13 the henceforth awaiting until His enemies should be placed as a footstool for His feet. 14 For by one offering, He has perfected [perfect indicative active] for all time those being sanctified.

Well I actually followed OSAS at the time. But I say I wasnt a Christian because nothing in my life reflected that I was a Christian.
I left OSAS because I had no victory over my sin in my life for 3 years, I was in despair and left that gospel and I saw the destruction this gospel did to my family. All it did is create fake Christians who were religious, that go to church on a sunday. Nothing more. Most people in my church didnt speak about God that Much. And I saw something wasnt quite right with this kind of teaching and the people I went to church with. Also myself and my family. I was crying for 3 years while in OSAS for God to deliver me from my alcohol problems but I never heard an answer, I was in the darkest point of my life. Until I left this kind of teaching, that made me so confused. And alot of the people in OSAS dont have fire for God. I could never understand why I went to a church where people didn't want to talk about God?

So I am glad I left these corrupt church systems.

Best if you hit the reply button to my post then I will receive notification when you respond...it is a help.

We do not stop sinning to be born again... if we could stop sinning there would be not need of a saviour.
So you have two choices the law or grace..... salvation by grace through faith does not state stop sinning.

But the bible does. Everyone that confesses the name of the lord MUST turn away from wickedness.
