Jesus repeatedly saying, tell no one?

Jesus did tell some to proclaim the gospel of faith in Christ to which His miracles bore witness, but He limited that proclamation's content, frequency, and extent, until the proper time when He commanded us to go into all the world, preach the gospel, make disciples of all nations, baptizing and teaching them to obey everything He commanded. That proper time was after His resurrection, and particularly, after the Holy Spirit was poured out at Pentecost. source

I find this curious myself. Even listening to preachers and teachers there appears to be a good bit of confusion.
It does seem clear that at least Peter, James & John followed his instructions with the transfiguration
So somebody did.
It would be a hard study to write down each event where he forbade speaking about it and each set of circumstances. If anyone wants to provide references I'd love to take a look at each instance.

Had the disciples disseminated the truth about Jesus, Yeshua, the people would have taken Him and made Him King.
As it is with the woman at the well,it is certain Jesus knew she would tell some somethings He had said to her, she did, and she brought seeral back to see Him. All things are revealed in their time...

I assume that if the ones He told to "tell no one" obeyed His command, they would have received an additional blessing from Him at some future point in their lives because they obeyed Him. But because they did not obey, the blessing that they did received wasn't as grand as it could have been.

My thoughts are, that each one of us has a destiny. However, following along your PERSONAL path is not going to make any sense whatsoever to another person, at times. Heck, sometimes it may not even make sense to ourselves. (Tell No One!.....They may talk you out of your path)
If the fishermen told someone else that even though they have been trying all day, Jesus said to just simply throw the net on the other side of the boat and they would catch fish. Anyone listening would have them committed. 😄
Those are my thoughts.

In practical terms, if you're wanting to minister to people it's often easier to do in the absence of a bunch of onlookers. Many of which may have ulterior motives.
In addition to that fact, I have the feeling Jesus also knew that some people would use it to get their OWN 15 minutes of fame through the kindness Jesus had done them. (As a modern example, they could use it to land a spot on a talk show or news program). I think Jesus may have been discouraging that kind of misuse.
