Lol. Mad at him??
HA HA HA HA
Now thats laughable..
I feel sorrow for him, I am not mad at him..
Thank you for your sorrow, I appreciate compassion, except calling me a liar, slanderer
suggests this is not actually true, but then not actually knowing how to react is a bit
of a problem when there is no relationship or consistency present on which to build.

And I know when things get bad, pages of meaningless abuse pour out, like a boil
lanced with a hot pin, putrid ooze flowing everywhere, so I will duck shortly.:LOL::LOL:

This has been explained to you before.

Your works CAN NOT justify you before God.

__________
For if Abraham were justified by works, he hath whereof to glory; ->But not before God.<-

For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness.

Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt.

But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.

Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works.

Works can only justify you before man. God does not need proof and empowers every truly good work.

It's been about a week, will you answer my question yet?
And i have already said before, i don't do any works so that i may be justified but out of obedience.

1 John 2: 4If anyone says, “I know Him,” but does not keep His commandments, he is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

1 John 2:3By this we can be sure that we have come to know Him: if we keep His commandments.

John 14:24Whoeverdoes not love Me does not keep My words. The word that you hear is not My own, but it is from theFather who sent Me.

Your individual out of context verses have all been put in to context so many times....

Please listen carefully.... please

Be honest with yourself and please give me your attention just this once...

Wrong.
If a person is eternally saved with no chance of loosing salvation, why the instructions and warnings?

No one is talking about the works of the law.
vvvvvv

You are posting in order to try and show how to be saved.
Then why post how the law is fulfilled while claiming to not be talking about the law.

Also ANY SIN is transgression of the law...

You say we must love our neighbor as ourselves to be saved
... but I sent this to you the other day...
____________

Luke 10
25 And, behold, a certain lawyer stood up, and tempted him, saying, Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?

26 He said unto him, What is written in the law? how readest thou?
(again a man looking to be justified by works)
27 And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.
(this man believes he actually does this fully)
28 And he said unto him, Thou hast answered right: this do, and thou shalt live.
(Jesus says knowing this man is self righteous yaaa thats all you need then if you are correct)
29 But he, willing to justify himself, said unto Jesus, And who is my neighbour?
(as if he truely does this knowing Jesus does not believe him asks ohhh who is my neighbor maybe i am wrong mockingly)

30 And Jesus answering said, A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, which stripped him of his raiment, and wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead.

31 And by chance there came down a certain priest that way: and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side.

32 And likewise a Levite, when he was at the place, came and looked on him, and passed by on the other side.

33 But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion on him,

34 And went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him.

35 And on the morrow when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave them to the host, and said unto him, Take care of him; and whatsoever thou spendest more, when I come again, I will repay thee.

36 Which now of these three, thinkest thou, was neighbour unto him that fell among the thieves?

37 And he said, He that shewed mercy on him. Then said Jesus unto him, Go, and do thou likewise.

____________

that amount of money
as well as offering for excess was .... a lot of money at that time....

this exposes that man who believed he was doing these things is actually wrong......

he does not love his enemy as himself as he ought to in order to be perfect

let alone his literal neighbor....

people try to take and mix up
reproof
instruction for righteousness
the law
and works

and try to say a man needs more than grace and faith to be saved (which isnt true)

again same principal

matthew 19

16 And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?

17 And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.

18 He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness,

19 Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

20 The young man saith unto him, All these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet?

21 Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.

_________

Jesus was telling this man how to be perfect

this man believed his works regarding the commandments were perfect (including loving his neighbor as himself)

Jesus is saying ohhhhh is that so?

then give up all your things and follow me
(to expose where this mans heart really was.... it is not evil to have possessions)

22 But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions.

these men, much like the pharisee believe they can earn salvation

Just as God gave us the law to show us how guilty we are

God gave those men instruction to expose the fact they NEED Him

You won't even scroll up on a page to answer my question....

How can you claim to love your neighbor to the extent that Jesus has laid out?

You have not even returned the love I have given you with many scriptures in contexts and many questions directly answered.... if I missed one I'm sorry but even if I didn't answer on purpose if you ask me

I'd still go to heaven because Jesus put His righteousness on my account

For some reason, they all have the same response.

1. They are asked a question
2. They refuse to answer
3. They push bible verses they think supports them
4. They are asked again to answer the question
5. They continue to diflect and refuse to answer
6. Then get mad at us and say we are attacking them

Its sad..

I am so worried about these people. Who think they can walk in the presence of god based on how good they are..
It will be a sad day for all
I am sure everyone appreciates your concern, except it is ignore sin, agree with God, and you are saved.
It will be a terrible day of gnashing of teeth and weeping for all who have not repented and put their
faith in the cross for the forgiveness of sins, and shown this by the fruit of repentance and walking in
His ways.

And the crazy thing here is two groups who use the same words but with different meanings.
Thankfully the elect listen to Jesus, and do not need teachers to define Gods word, rather through
fellowship Gods word to our hearts is confirmed by our brothers and sisters in Christ.

What soon becomes apparent is who burns who, and jumps on which statements of Jesus, declares
their true loyalty.

15 For he says to Moses, "I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion."
16 It does not, therefore, depend on man's desire or effort, but on God's mercy.
Rom 9

God chooses, we worship. Suddenly some will rise up and say, no, man chooses faith, so they are
guilty of unbelief and being thrown into Hell. Except in the same words, faith is a gift not a choice.
So confused are they, they will say opposite things at the same time, and call this truth. And even so
they are willing to judge the eternal destination of believers, separating the sheep from the goats, even
when only God Himself can do this at the end of all things. Amen, praise the Lord

31 "When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his throne in heavenly glory.
32 All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.
Matt 25

46 "Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life."
Matt 25

There are many people who declare themselves saved ... I wonder how that can be, if everyone's judgment has not yet arrived.
Nobody is saved just for believing; that is a myth. It is evident that those in Mat.7:21-23 believed they were saved ... but they were not.
Nobody can loose something they don't have yet. If people believe in Jesus with all the faith of the world and keep sinning without any kind of "remorse", they won't be saved AT ALL of what is coming. It is not only at these days when people talk the same way ... it happened in the first century too, and this is what was told about them:

1Pe 2:11 (ESV) Beloved, I urge you as sojourners and exiles to abstain from the passions of the flesh, which wage war against your soul.
12 Keep your conduct among the Gentiles honorable, so that when they speak against you as evildoers, they may see your good deeds and glorify God on the day of visitation.
13 Be subject for the Lord's sake to every human institution, whether it be to the emperor as supreme,
14 or to governors as sent by him to punish those who do evil and to praise those who do good.
15 For this is the will of God, that by doing good you should put to silence the ignorance of foolish people.
16 Live as people who are free, not using your freedom as a cover-up for evil, but living as servants of God.
17 Honor everyone. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the emperor.
18 Servants, be subject to your masters with all respect, not only to the good and gentle but also to the unjust.
19 For this is a gracious thing, when, mindful of God, one endures sorrows while suffering unjustly.
20 For what credit is it if, when you sin and are beaten for it, you endure? But if when you do good and suffer for it you endure, this is a gracious thing in the sight of God.
21 For to this you have been called, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, so that you might follow in his steps.
22 He committed no sin, neither was deceit found in his mouth.
23 When he was reviled, he did not revile in return; when he suffered, he did not threaten, but continued entrusting himself to him who judges justly.
24 He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed.
25 For you were straying like sheep, but have now returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls.

Gal 5:13 For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.
14 For the whole law is fulfilled in one word: "You shall love your neighbor as yourself."
15 But if you bite and devour one another, watch out that you are not consumed by one another.
16 But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.
17 For the desires of the flesh are against the Spirit, and the desires of the Spirit are against the flesh, for these are opposed to each other, to keep you from doing the things you want to do.
18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.

Nobody is justified by works, BUT nobody will be saved without works. Salvation is not something anyone can have, cause we are not the ones who are saving anybody, or ourselves ... It is going to be Jesus who will keep the loyal ones safe. When someone is really being led by spirit, they will not be practicing sins ... and their good behavior counts as works. On the other hand, when someone is sinning, he is not acting by spirit, and his evil deeds will prevent him from being saved.

1Co 6:9 Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality,
10 nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.
11 And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

Heb 3:12 Take care, brothers, lest there be in any of you an evil, unbelieving heart, leading you to fall away from the living God.
13 But exhort one another every day, as long as it is called "today," that none of you may be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin.
14 For we have come to share in Christ, if indeed we hold our original confidence firm to the end.
15 As it is said, "Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion."
16 For who were those who heard and yet rebelled? Was it not all those who left Egypt led by Moses?
17 And with whom was he provoked for forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose bodies fell in the wilderness?
18 And to whom did he swear that they would not enter his rest, but to those who were disobedient?
19 So we see that they were unable to enter because of unbelief.

What we are looking for is not to believe that we are already saved, which is impossible, but that we may be saved at the last moment:

Mat 24:13 But the one who endures to the end will be saved.
WOW.....so much wrong with this post.......one error after another....

Are you VCO, saying or teaching if I get to heaven and it is found out I did works for God I will hear "I never knew you?"
Note: I do not use colors because I am angry, it is only for Emphasis.

Matthew 7:20-22 (HCSB)
20 So you’ll recognize them by their fruit. [NOTICE: IT DOES NOT SAY ANYTHING ABOUT WORKS. FRUIT is in Gal. 5:22]
21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord!’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but ⌊only⌋ the one who does the will of My Father in heaven.
22 On that day many will say to Me, ‘Lord, Lord, didn’t we prophesy in Your name, drive out demons in Your name, and do many miracles in Your name?’
[They did those deeds thinking they need to earn Salvation.]
Matthew 7:23 (HCSB)
23 Then I will announce to them, ‘I never knew you! [The inner personal LOVE relationship, only comes to those Born Again.]
Depart from Me, you lawbreakers!’

NO you misinterpreted what I was saying. I am referring to the Biblical Principal THAT YOU WILL NOT GET TO HEAVEN BECAUSE OF YOUR WORKS. SALVATION is a FREE GIFT OF LOVE FROM GOD, and everyone of us SAVED SINNERS WILL want to Obey HIM out of the GODLY LOVE, HE put in our HEARTS. You do not earn SALVATION, which is the WRONG MOTIVE, and if you pursue earning Salvation, HE WILL SAY TO YOU, SOONER THAN MOST THINK, "I never knew you!" That TERM is a reference to that Inner Personal LOVE Relationship between JESUS CHRIST and us. Without it, you do not get to go to heaven.

John 3:3-7 (NKJV)
3 Jesus answered and said to him, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God."
4 Nicodemus said to Him, "How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother's womb and be born?"
5 Jesus answered, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.
6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
7 Do not marvel that I said to you, 'You must be born again.'

Romans 4:3-5 (HCSB)
3 For what does the Scripture say? Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him for righteousness.
4 Now to the one who works [for his or her SALVATION], pay is not considered as a gift, but as something owed.
5 But to the one who does not work [for his or her SALVATION], but believes on Him who declares the ungodly to be righteous,
his faith is credited for righteousness.

2 Timothy 1:9 (HCSB)
9 He has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace, which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began.

Romans 11:6 (HCSB)
6 Now if by grace, then it is not by works; otherwise grace ceases to be grace.

Titus 3:5-8 (HCSB)
5 He saved usnot by works of righteousness that we had done, but according to His mercy, through the washing of regeneration and renewal by the Holy Spirit.
6 He poured out this ⌊Spirit⌋ on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior,
7 so that having been justified by His grace, we may become heirs with the hope of eternal life.
8 This saying is trustworthy. I want you to insist on these things, so that those who have believed God might be careful to devote themselves to good works. These are good and profitable for everyone.

Ephesians 2:8-9 (NJB)
8 Because it is by grace that you have been saved, through faith; not by anything of your own, but by a gift from God;
9 not by anything that you have done, so that nobody can claim the credit.

1 Peter 1:3-5 (HCSB)
3 Praise the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. According to His great mercy, He has given us a new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead
4 and into an inheritance that is imperishable, uncorrupted, and unfading, kept in heaven for you.
5 You are being protected by God’s power through faith for a salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time.

John 10:26-28 (HCSB)
26 But you don’t believe because you are not My sheep.
27 My sheep hear My voice, I know them [a reference to Born Again], and they follow Me.
28 I give them eternal life, and they will never perish—ever! No one will snatch them out of My hand.

John 14:15 (HCSB)
15 “If you love [that inner personal LOVE relationship, Born Again] Me, you will keep My commands. [AN ACT OF GODLY LOVE]

OBEDIENCE is part of AGAPE LOVE, and that LOVE WILL cause our Human Spirit to SPAWN the same type of LOVE; it is the SEED in our good soil in our Born Again Human Spirit.

Here is where the AGAPE LOVE comes from:

Romans 5:5 (HCSB)
5 This hope will not disappoint ⌊us⌋, because God’s love has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

OBEDIENCE has never been a part SALVATION, that is a misinterpretation.

It is not to difficult to understand, seing how many people is here saying they're saved and not showing the minimal love for others. LOVE is a work and not loving others is a sin.
Love is a spiritual gift and a process of growth and maturity after one has been saved.....and do you think that just because one uses sarcasm, a little heat and or pointed direct names that they do not love? Is that what you think? If you do you are saying JESUS, JOHN the Baptist, Elijah, Paul etc. did not love.......

Sounds like people are answering, but someone is refusing to listen.
And words of condemnation are attacking, so claiming innocence is just self delusion.

Believing, being born again, being saved, not loosing salvation, getting baptized, ... Every one here looks they got so many things.
No one can be born again by himself. It is the Father who make people His children ... nobody adopts himself to a father; it is a man, a couple, those who come to the orphanage to see who they want to adopt. Nobody can get the spirit like is something that somebody can find somewhere and get it because he wanted to. All denominations baptize people and comdemn each other. There is a truth in the Scripture about a baptism, acting guided by the spirit, a truth about being born again ... but how many live in an illusion like those mentioned by Jesus in Mat. 7: 21-23? It is our responsability to check on the Scriptures what is really told about everything ... so we don't believe just what somebody wants us to believe or ourselves ... but the truth.

Hey brother, this kind of tripped me up a little. Can you elaborate? Do you mean people who believe in Jesus but don’t have faith in Him that what He did is good enough for our salvation?
JAMES, which is yanked out of context by the workers for....

Two keys to JAMES....

The demons believe and tremble
Show me your faith

James addresses the 12 scattered tribes....they had the same problem the JEWS do to this day....a mere belief in GOD, but NO saving faith
It can be summed up like this....

Paul-->Romans---.A man is justified and saved before GOD be genuine saving faith
James--James-->The above faith that justifies a man before GOD is seen by MEN based upon our works

It is not that difficult, yet MANY conflate the two into a false gospel with no power to save

And at the END of the day they will reject, deny, explain away or dismiss or twist the following verse....

If we are faithless, He remains faithful, for He cannot deny Himself.

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.
Gal 5

Love is something we are born with, it is innate in human beings.
Society in general does not follow God, yet love is displayed in every family to a greater or
lesser extent, and founds our very existence. It is why we relate to Jesus even before we come
to faith, and why His words speak right to our hearts.

As far as coarse talking this is what is said

4 Nor should there be obscenity, foolish talk or coarse joking, which are out of place, but rather thanksgiving.
5 For of this you can be sure: No immoral, impure or greedy person--such a man is an idolater--has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.
6 Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of such things God's wrath comes on those who are disobedient.
Eph 5

To understand how easily people distort things, listen to the extreme right wing groups
who easily adopt a "christian" garb yet their language is of the gutter and will abuse people
at the drop of a hat. The more sophisticated hold it slightly in check, but anyone from a reasonable
background can spot such people a mile away, and there source of inspiration is very obvious.

You are talking about yourself, and I think is true what you say ... but when somebody thinks of himself, that he is already saved and he won't loose what he supposely had already, then that person can easily fall in sins and believe it doesn't matter ... I can see that here a lot.

PD: Again, sorry for my English.
Are you not talking about yourself and thinking to yourself what constitutes and conveying it "One who believes already saved and won't loose what he supposedly had already"

Then you draw the conclusion that the said believers can fall in sins and believe it doesn't matter"

Then you say "I can see that a lot here"

Ok.

Quote where anyone says on here anyone on here that says we can fall into sins and it doesn't matter.

I don't think you will be able to.

I think you will find that people may say that we can fall in sins and even when we do the grace of God covers it.

Not using the grace of God as a license to sin.

Paul addressed that through Romans 5-6

I think those who do not believe they are saved supposedly whilst here on earth have an issue which can lead sins.

What is the sin that the Holy Spirit would come to convict the world off.

Jesus said "The sin of unbelief in him"

Jesus said that.

Gospel of John

John 3:16-17
16 “For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.17 God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him.

John 6:29
29 Jesus answered and said to them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent.”

So what are these sins.

Works done not of faith but works to be saved.

It's faith that saves which leads to works as a result of faith.

So please qualify and quote "What I can see a lot on here that believers on here say that they can sin AND IT DOES NOT MATTER"

If you cannot then please retract that statement.
