The reason some of these people cannot be engaged......that have no honesty, no integrity, skew, twist, deceive and flat twist everything so for beyond what was said that it is no longer what was said.........exactly why the MANY get cast...too busy contorting truth while rejecting the actual truth
They have to do that. Otherwise their belief system crashes and burns

When people may misinterpret what you are saying, unless it is really an extreme one, there is no real need to call them such nasty names.

A more loving response would be to ask yourself, "I was very clear in what my mind is thinking, but the other person cannot read my mind and can only interpret based on the words I typed. Could I have presented my points in a clearer and better way?"

Internet debate is like that, there will always be some people that misunderstand what you are saying. In a Christian discussion especially, all of us can do "good works" by responding with patience and empathy.
Gongshow.......I am very clear in what I say..............and I call it like I see it and when a PLETHORA of truth, statements, definitions, and context get ignored, rejected, denied, twisted, skewed or just flat chunked to peddle false dogmas and gospels I will call a spade a spade........

Only Jesus KEPT the law. That’s why he had to die for these men. Because they could not keep the law

The law requires perfection when you lawyers realize this maybe you can understand what Christ really did
follow/obey the law does not mean obey the law in perfection. so back to those guys, John, the 12, st Paul, all followed the law. were they unbelievers?

do you really thnk that there was no forgiveness before Jesus? in the days of David, Moses, etc, when someone made a mistake, broke the law . . .BAM!! they get struck down and sent to hell forever and ever? there is no way you would believe in such nonsense, yet in order for this all to work one would actually have to believe that.

Gentleness and humility is a fruit of the spirit. If you truly believe what you say is the truth, why is there a need to resort to name calling? As others have stated to you, God don't need us to show such aggression. People have to come to the truth at their own timing, and not yours.

In my opinion, how you treat people over the Internet, whom you are unlikely to ever meet in real life and hence they are unable to benefit nor cost you, is a good indication of how much of those you manifest.

Your wrong, the law demanded perfextion, moses gave the warning and paul confirmed it in gal 3. James even proved it by saying if you keep the whole law yet fail in one point your guilty of the whole law.

Your watering down the law to suit your belief system,

For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.

Only Christ kept the Law.
We missed the mark. No person except Christ can or ever will be can keep the whole law.

ALL I know is Jesus! If only we portrayed ourselves a fourth as full of love as He did ,what a difference that would make!

Did John the Baptist call names?
Did Paul call names?
Did Elijah mock, ridicule and use sarcasm?

And Opinions means zero....actually comes from two Greek words and translated hypocrite......OPINIONATED ONE

This simply means we can't be saved trying to obey the law. What about that?

Matthew 5:20 For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.

Surpassing the scribes and Pharissees of their self righteouness is still in no way to enter the kingdom. The only way to exceed them is to humble ourselves and see your need of salvation.

Here is a fundamental failure of understanding regarding the law of God.

Paul kept the law faultlessly.

4 If anyone else thinks he has reasons to put confidence in the flesh, I have more:
5 circumcised on the eighth day, of the people of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of Hebrews; in regard to the law, a Pharisee;
6 as for zeal, persecuting the church; as for legalistic righteousness, faultless.
7 But whatever was to my profit I now consider loss for the sake of Christ.
Phil 3

The rich you man, what did he say about the law

20 "All these I have kept," the young man said. "What do I still lack?"
21 Jesus answered, "If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me."
Matt 19

Jesus knows everything. He knew the rich young man was not a failed sinner, but a
righteous follower of God. So by the law he was qualified. But this is not enough.

Only lawless rebellious sinners will claim no one can walk Jesus's ways and be called righteous.
The whole point about the temple and sacrifices is the heart intent matters, and resolution of
failure is provided. When sinners abandon resolution and repentance their is no hope left for
them, only the lake of fire and judgement.

The power of God is love working within a open heart which breaks up the passions of flesh
which desire to destroy others for the sake of gratification. Why the roman games? Why the orgies
and temple prostitutes? Why gluttony and greed? Why drugs and enslavement to addictive behaviour?
Why the worship of wealth and the number of possessions one has?

Because without Jesus and His love, a peace that passes understanding there is only this emotional
gratification. God bless you.

I did not say he abolished the law. As long as their are unbelievers the law will still have a purpose.
Stop your lies or walk away..
Sad. The law of Christ is the law of love working in a redeemed heart.
It fulfils the law by obedience. It is not a law breaker, so is not under the law as it has no hold over us if
we walk in Christ.

We have no fear from the law, because we are not guilty.

Does God stop people from choosing and listening to different interpretations and options?
No.

Could God stop the preaching and teaching of false teachers and those overtaken by sin?
Yes, but he chooses to let it all continue.

Gods way is a way of testing the elect, by our choices we testify to who we are and where our hearts lie.

11 Let him who does wrong continue to do wrong; let him who is vile continue to be vile; let him who does right continue to do right; and let him who is holy continue to be holy."
12 "Behold, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to everyone according to what he has done.
13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.
14 "Blessed are those who wash their robes, that they may have the right to the tree of life and may go through the gates into the city.

The law requires perfection when you lawyers realize this maybe you can understand what Christ really did
The point about Jesus was not the law.
It was God coming to man, God talking, living, breathing with man.
Love was never going to fail, because He could never deny Himself or His nature.

The miss-understanding is that the law mattered, or Jesus following it.
In a sense he changed the law, by doing works of love on the Sabbath others called sin.
The law was always a signpost of who God literally is, and how love works through every
situation. Given wealth, technology, prisons, how we dispense justice has changed, so its
expression would be different now than in the time of Jesus.

Enslaving people is better than execution or starvation. If you can only sell you labour for
life to pay for your life, is this unjust to accept?

Jesus died for us, by taking our sinful behaviour, our intention to kill and destroy Him, and
forgiving us, if we identify with those who killed Him and accept who He is, and the message
of a heart transformed by love will walk eternally with God.

A heart without love will always see legalism and failure, and think this is all about laws
and rules and accepting sinners as saints even though nothing has changed.
God have mercy on their souls, for on that day, only weeping and gnashing of teeth will remain.

Thats what scripture says.

I know,You do not like it, Because you like pharisees water down the law to make it appear you keep it.

Thats why you can’t see christ or understand grace, you do not think you need it again, just like the pharisees

Your watering down the law to suit your belief system,
The law demanded we identify sin, and respond appropriately with repentance and sacrifice.

It is odd for legalists like EG who claims to know the law and its intent to closely to ignore the
temple, the priests, the blood, the cost and effort to maintain the continual offering for failure
to bring flawed Israel into Holiness and truth. And ultimately this failed, because though the
ideas and practice was 100% true, people did not care.

Only with the law written on their hearts and minds would the true people of God arise,
filled with the Holy Spirit, living and walking in His ways, Amen.

The simple failure to know Gods true revelation and declare such a miss-understanding of love
and the cross, testifies against these legalists and blind guides.

This is like a cancer patient going to a homopathic hospital to be cured.
The words and water will cure the disease, nothing else needs to happen, you are cured and will
not die. I know when love hits a hard heart, only staying as one is is their cure, no matter the excuses
any other solution is impossible, because without faith in Jesus to transform the soul by repentance
and breaking up our hearts to have hearts of flesh and not hearts of stone, we are eternally lost.

19 I will give them an undivided heart and put a new spirit in them; I will remove from them their heart of stone and give them a heart of flesh.
20 Then they will follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws. They will be my people, and I will be their God.
21 But as for those whose hearts are devoted to their vile images and detestable idols, I will bring down on their own heads what they have done, declares the Sovereign LORD."
Ezek 11

The reason people cannot be engaged because a monotone repetition of heresy does not prove
it is right. Without a heart of flesh, responding to love and Gods word, nothing will ever get through.

What is very odd for me is to believe people who follow love and have a heart of flesh to not have
honesty, integrity, truth, and reality as the bed rock of their walk. Only someone who has no clue as
to what this walk is would suggest such a thing, but then the pharisees called Jesus a liar and filled
with an evil spirit, so what more can we expect. God bless you.
