And Then After A While You Will See Me Again,
Jesus is telling His apostles not to worry but at that
point in time, they didn't know what He was getting at.
Eventually Jesus would tell them of His death and His
resurrection and why it was to happen. At the same
time He was telling them about the Comforter who is
the Holy Spirit and how He will come to be their
protector while Jesus was away. So from then onward
the Holy Spirit will be with us. To fully accept the
Holy Spirit, we need to accept Him wholeheartedly. In
that sense we become a changed person. The question
has been asked several times, "How do I know the Holy
Spirit is in me,". My short answer would be; when you
no longer need to ask that question. The deeper answer
is when you detect that change in your Christian life, when
you begin to awaken and feeling you are a new creation.
For example thoughts of the spirit of God are on your mind
far more often than thoughts of the flesh. The Holy Spirit
truly takes over intellectualism and replaces words with
eternal love and life. Eventually God becomes our life and
our lifestyle.
