It had nothing to do with protection from the demonic with me but with ministering to others.

Remember what Jesus said about the kind that goes out with fasting and prayer? I saw one who talked to himself, was homeless...in his right mind and holding down a job after this experience.

I agree administering the gospel its power deals with the demons of lies.

Both food for ones soul our daily bread and the substance needed for these bodies of death. It is the kind of fast as a hope of being heard on high... the prayer that accompanies the work of fasting

You're making a reference to Isaiah 58. In that chapter, the kind of fast God linked with 'being heard on high' was where the person was walking in righteousness and giving aid to those in need, not necessarily denying oneself physical food.

Amen.. Yes, sharing the manna as bread of unfamiliarity, or unknown understanding.. . along with other metaphors used in that parable..(cover naked ) with both clothing clothed with food for our fleshly bodies and the righteousness of the gospel etc

They all represent the gospel as it is written the key that loosens the bands of wickedness unlocking the gates of hell. , yoking us with Christ to lighten the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that we break every yoke that bind us from his love working in us. ?

Thank-you for your response it brought me to tears. I am very close to returning to the very safe foundation in my vision. I am afraid I cannot do what the Spirit asks of me. I know every part of my being, heart, soul, mind, and body belong to GOD of that I have no doubt. But to go against such cemented beliefs of religious doctrines is exhausting. I think GOD has asked me to fast so his Spirit can strengthen me. LOVE and thanks

No I believed you, I have heard of many horrors that demons cause mankind and I can only imagine what can occur in this world today where they have become so much bolder and open about their hatred for GOD and mankind. I haven't seen first hand and I will continue to ask for GOD's protection against the evil one as Jesus taught us

This is happening everywhere, I watch as our young people turn to witchcraft, and demon idolization it is very sad indeed thank-you for sharing. Stay strong in Christ and pray for protection. LOVE
