Adorable animals movies... a short list

Have you seen...

Milo and Otis (their owners are nowhere to be seen)
A streetcat named Bob
Marley and Me
Lassie
Secret life of Pets
Garfield

The last two are animated. I think its amazing that some animals can act...toto in the wizard of oz was actually Terry and she was a girl.

If there are pet theatre or drama schools I wonder where they are...? You could be a stage mum lol. I once entered my cat Fluffy into the school pet show and she won a prize for the 'greenest eyes' .

I am getting a puppy this Saturday , she is 5 months old and beautiful...
My daughter bought her without even thinking what it entails to have a dog , she lives in a tower block on the 6th floor , and the dog hardly goes out...

It took me 2/3 days thinking about having her , I have owned dogs before , I also have a 5 year old cat called Moses , not even sure how he is going to take to lady ( thats her name )...

I have a huge garden and plenty of green spaces around me for daily walking , I have ordered a baby gate which is coming tomorrow , and I am off soon to buy a crate ( big one for short moments I am out ) and to buy her new bowls , toys , food...

What I am worried about is what kind of food to feed her , I know that most store food is full of junk , processed , just like our food , so this is the only worry I have , any tips would be really appreciated , and thank you...xox...

Find out what your sister has been feeding Lady. A sudden change in food can cause upset tummys. When you decide on something, mix the two kinds for several days to help the tummy. I cannot afford the really healthy stuff but I feel comfortable feeding them Racheal Ray's Nutrish which is not as costly. It will probably take several days for Moses and Lady to work out their relationship, be patient, they'll get it in time.

It is my daughter whom I am getting Lady from :)...
I am in UK , we have a food over here called Baxtors , that is popular , but healthy dog food comes under the range of organic , and I can not afford that , I just want the best of the poorer version lol...xox...

OK....hard to recommend a food then from the US....LOL. Read the ingredients, if the 1st ingredient is meat, that's a good start. Fewer grains, like wheat, soy, corn meal. Vegetables are good.

I've crate trained every dog that I've had. Buy one that will be big enough to house her when she's full grown but until she's house broken block it down with something so that she only has what space she needs to lay down. A puppy with too much space will do their business in one corner and then lay down in the other.

@Oncefallen ...
I did not end up getting the crate , they were very expensive , but Ii did get her a lovely pink bed , a large one that I have a nice soft blanket to put in...

I have bought her some toys and other bits as she has just lost all her baby teeth and new ones are coming through...
I just hope she settles and sleeps well lol...xox...

Oh and the potty training , I will be taking her out lots , and I have a big garden...xox...

If you give a dog a bone, wont they be happy? Just ask at the butchers, or restaurants, they will proably give it you for free. Restaurants have 'doggy bags'

I know that you dont give them chocolate.

I used to have an iguana, i actually caught her on my lawn when she was just a baby. It took a long time to domesticate, train
and get her used people..As for dog or cat person i prefer dogs because unlike cats they don't usually have mood swings or act needlessly sassy. Dogs for the most part are simple and predictable.

I have to borrow the neighbours pets but I don't want to covet them so I keep it to minimum interaction

One day I heard a meow at the mailbox. She came out of the bushes behind the mailbox. She was a kitten at the time. Immediately, I tried to pick her up, but she wouldn't have it. She would run a couple of feet away from me so I couldn't catch her. Then she'd kind of make her way back toward me as I talked to her sweetly. I'd reach out to pet her and...the cycle repeated. I kept saying, "Ok, Sayonara!" and would walk away. Finally, she let me scoop her up and take her home. I named her Nara for short and later added Jane: Nara Jane. 🐱
