this is a good video about once saved always saved. it also says about the misconception that we say you can just sin as much as you want and live in sin.
WHEN IS NON OSAS CAMP GOING TO STOP PEDDLING THAT LIE, ABOUT WHAT US OSAS BELIEVERS ACTUALLY BELIEVE. IF THEIR OFFENCE IS A LIE, ABOUT OUR BELIEFS, THEN AS FAR AS I AM CONCERNED, THEIR THEOLOGY IS ALSO A LIE.
One Saved Always Saved, believe the Born Again Human Spirit, CHANGES THE CORE OF OUR BEING UPON SPIRITUAL BIRTH, VIA THE HOLY SPIRIT birthing our Human Spirit, to be like HIM, including ETERNAL. If you think you can lose your Salvation, THEN YOU PROBABLY ARE NOT BORN AGAIN, AND YOU CANNOT LOSE WHAT YOU DO NOT HAVE.
As we feed on the WORD OF GOD, our human spirit will become STRONGER and STRONGER, and eventually our Human Spirit will dominate the will of the Flesh. Giving the appearance that one is born again, IS NOT THE REAL McCOY. You actually HAVE TO HAVE BEEN BORN AGAIN BY THE HOLY SPIRIT, or you are just a Pretender Christian that is not yet Part of US, and here are the PRETENDER CHRISTIANS:
1 John 2:19 (NKJV)
19
They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us;
but they went out that they might be made manifest, that none of them were of us.
OSAS Beliefs are these:
John 3:6 (NKJV)
6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
John 3:7 (NKJV)
7
Do not marvel that I said to you, ' You be born again.'
John 14:15 (HCSB)
15
“If you love Me [That GODLY LOVE only happens when you have been BORN AGAIN.],
you will keep [That is in the Human Born Again Spirit or heart, a permanent controlling change in your attitutude.] My commands.
No we are not perfect at Obeying Him, we are continually striving to obey, and when we fail, we are the one's who eagerly Confess it as SIN.
Ecclesiastes 7:20 (NKJV)
20
For there is not a just man on earth who does good And does not sin.
1 Peter 1:6-9 (NASB)
6 In this you greatly rejoice, even though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been distressed by various trials,
7 so that
the proof of your faith,
being more precious than gold which is perishable, even though tested by fire, may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ;
8 and though you have not seen Him,
you love Him [that is GODLY LOVE, from the Holy Spirit pouring GOD's LOVE into your heart (human spirit) sprout the same kind of love within your heart], and though you do not see Him now,
but believe in Him [Totally, with complete TRUST],
you greatly rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory [a joy that you cannot achieve on your own, it is GOD given],
9
obtaining as the outcome of your faith the salvation of your souls. <-- PAST TENSE
AND of course we believe these verses literally TOO.
2 Timothy 1:9 (HCSB)
9
He has saved us and called us with a holy calling,
not according to our works,
but according to His own purpose and grace,
which was given to us in Christ Jesus
before time began.
Revelation 3:19-20 (HCSB)
19
As many as I love, I rebuke and discipline. So be committed and repent.
20
Listen! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and have dinner with him, and he with Me.
Philippians 1:6 (HCSB)
6 I am sure of this, that
He who started a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
John 10:27-28 (HCSB)
27
My sheep hear My voice, I know them, and they follow Me.
28
I give them eternal life, and they will never perish—ever! No one will snatch them out of My hand.
2 John 1:2 (HCSB)
2
because of the truth that remains in us and will be with us forever.
1 Peter 1:3-5 (HCSB)
3 Praise the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
According to His great mercy, He has given us a new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead
4 and into
an inheritance that is imperishable, uncorrupted, and unfading, kept in heaven for you.
5
You are being protected by God’s power through faith for a salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time.
Titus 3:5-8 (HCSB)
5
He saved us— not by works of righteousness that we had done, but according to His mercy, through the washing of regeneration and renewal by the Holy Spirit.
6 He poured out this ⌊Spirit⌋ on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior,
7
so that having been justified by His grace, we may become heirs with the hope of eternal life.
8
This saying is trustworthy. I want you to insist on these things, so that those who have believed God might be careful to devote themselves to good works. These are good and profitable for everyone.
Therefore I proclaim the false idea that OSAS means we believe you can sin all you want after being saved,
IS A TOTAL LIE.
