A lot of people believe in aliens and extra- terrestial beings. If a being in a planet is corrupt, then the whole planet corrupts and falls astray. That’s my opinion.
And the devil (Hades) is for the hard-to-swallow people. He might do a good job at that.

Life on Other Planets:
I don't think they all admit this, or necessarily talk about it a lot publicly.
But some of the top secular scientists have stated, very clearly, that because the conditions for life are so incredibly improbable, they do not expect to find life on another planet.
Evolution:
They also won't tell you that some of the top secular biologists have admitted that Neo Darwinism doesn't really have a lot of evidence, and isn't at all proven to work.
- The problem is that "evolution" is a very broad term that includes, and relies upon, several different theories about biology. When they say evolution is "proven", what they really mean is "one of those theories is proven." Essentially, they are saying "a PART of evolution is proven"... and it's a very small part. It's the part that has nothing to do with what we normally consider evolution.
(From what I understand, the portion of evolution that is considered absolutely "proven" is that "things change over time". Well, we all know that things change over time. What we don't agree on is that everything descended from a common ancestor, or that the mechanisms for Neo Darwinism actually work at all.)
I don't think ALL atheist biologists will admit these things too readily, or too publicly.
But this is what some of the top people in their field have said.
And when pressed, I think most could be backed into a corner where they would have to admit this.
They could say, "these are our best natural theories."
But they couldn't really say they are proven.
They make a lot of public claims which, in actual debate, or in academic papers, they seem to back away from.

One more thing... debate:
If you're going to debate an angry atheist, don't expect him to just roll over on these issues.
He's going to say evolution is TRUE, PROVEN, BELIEVED BY EVERYONE, and YOU ARE JUST STUPID.
Regardless of what top scientists have said, the average atheist you talk to is NOT going to concede on ANYTHING.
So either don't debate them, or be PREPARED, and know what you're talking about.
