Most jobs will have a very liberal paid vacation policy.
Time off:

When I was very young, still in my teens, I was doing some contract work.
The company I contracted with gave me an hour off for lunch, and said I could take lunch whenever I wanted, at my own discretion.
The first day I walked in an hour late.
The boss showed up, extremely angry, screaming at me, wanting to know why I was late.
I said, "I decided to take lunch first."

:)

If we have work to do in heaven... I hope it comes with flexible hours.

John 5:17
But Jesus answered them, “My Father has been working until now, and I have been working.”

3/4 of those things that's mentioned has been happening since the beginning.
Perhaps things get worse because people are taught garbage to begin with.

Jesus came and brought the kingdom with Him and it's now also within us and it's being withheld because of what we believe I think.

I find it interesting that the Light came into the world yet we believe the Light cannot extinguish the darkness.
LOL You just disagree with what the Bible says. Nothing can help you, im done!

I think on earth, you can make your own heaven or hell by the choices you make.
I was taught by the JWs that the earth will become a heaven. JWs don't believe in heaven being up in the sky. All the dead will rise from their graves, be judged & we will all live on the earth. I remember saying - Wow, it will be waaay overcrowded cos there are alot of dead people out there to resurrect! and apparently we will still have kids but never age. Well one of the younger girls said, who knows, Jehovah might move us to another planet or something. We'll all become astronauts!! They told me nothing is impossible for Jehovah. We won't age either, but just stay a certain age, maybe 30 or so.
Anyway I'm no Bible expert, but I do know that much of the Bible was written in parables and has hidden meanings, much like Shakespeare plays had hidden meanings, so that he didn't get arrested for saying heretical stuff outright - if you did, you either got burned alive, hung drawn & quartered, or got chained up in a dark prison cell & left to starve to death; not nice *shudders*.
TBH I've nearly really thought hard about what heaven would be like. I suppose we will all flit around, meeting up with our loved ones who have passed away, (I can't wait to see my wee cat Tasha again!!!), study, and who knows what else? It doesn't seem real to me. Maybe we WILL make the earth our heaven. Why we can't start to do that now, is beyond me.
All I hope is that 'every tear will be wiped away' and all the heartache will be gone forever.
Wouldn't that be just great? :)
PS: I wonder is there will be chocolate cake / cheesecake in heaven, or Tim Tams??! You could eat forever and ever get fat, lol!

All my departed animal friends will be there. As will every animal that passed on so I can take my time giving them hugs.
Endless supply of cheesecake, Boston cream pie, ice cream, and Devils food cake. An ocean with white sand beaches. And the high end sports car of my choice each moment I think about which one I'd like to drive.

But hey, that's my idea of Heaven.
I'm sure there are more things to add but that will have to do for now. ;)

Here's our version of Heaven Down Under - Australia's favourite bikkie. There are even ads on TV and an ongoing debate about how to eat them! Me, I munch off the top layer, lick the chocolate cream out, then eat the rest - always with a cuppa. They are simply to DIE for! ;)

Bible says wont happen. Bible says things get WORSE AND WORSE until JESUS comes back and brings the solutions with Him!
Then what "appears" to be better and better. They have to say "peace and safety first" For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape

Is that Kurt Angle in your avatar? Great wrestler! Olympic gold medalist with a broken neck!
